Security footage from the Eastgate Shopping Center in North Carolina shows the unwavering bond between a Soldier and their Service Dog.
The veteran walking through the corridor is David. He's 32 years old with 2 deployments.
He was diagnosed with PTSD in 2019 and crowds immediately trigger anxiety attacks.
The German Shepherd walking beside him is 5 yr old Atlas. David's certified service animal for three years.
David told a local news outlet he had driven to the mall to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy near the east entrance.
He knew it was a Saturday. He knew it would be crowded. He thought he could manage it.
"About halfway down the main corridor I could feel it starting," David explained. "Heart rate going up. Breathing getting shallow. I was scanning every face. It's like my brain just shifts into a different mode and I can't pull it back manually."
The security footage shows David walking at a slightly faster pace than normal. His posture tighter. Atlas is right beside him, matching his stride.
Then Atlas stops.
He sits down directly in David's path. Squarely. Calmly. Like he'd planned it.
David takes one more step and nearly stumbles over Atlas. He looks down.
Atlas looks up.
Direct, steady eye contact. Unwavering. The kind of focus that asks for nothing except full attention in return.
David stopped.
The crowd parted around them. People kept moving. Nobody stopped. Just two figures standing still in the middle of a busy corridor — a man and his dog looking at each other.
David knelt down. Put both hands on either side of Atlas's face.
You can hear David talking to Atlas, calming himself by acting like he's calming the dog.
He told us: "When Atlas locks eyes with me like that, it forces my whole nervous system to find something to attach to that isn't a threat. He becomes the only thing in the room. And once he's the only thing in the room, I can breathe again."
They stayed there for about two minutes. Then Atlas stood up. Resumed walking. Slower this time. And David walked with him.
They picked up the prescription. Made it back to the car.
David posted the security footage two weeks later with permission slip from the mall.
He wanted people to understand what service animals actually do in real time — not in training environments, not in demonstrations, but in the middle of an ordinary Saturday when everything quietly starts to fall apart.
"Atlas didn't wait for me to ask for help," David said. "He saw what was coming before I could name it. And he put himself between me and it."
Sometimes the bravest thing a guardian does is simply refuse to move.
God bless our soldiers and the service dogs who walk beside them...always. 🇺🇸
Before Jason Statham was one of the biggest action stars in the world, he appeared in a 1993 music video wearing cheetah-print briefs, covered in baby oil, dancing behind a British electronic band called The Shamen.
The song was “Comin’ On.” Statham was 25. He was a background dancer. The clip is still online and it is exactly as glorious as it sounds.
But what most people don’t know is that before even that, Statham was a competitive diver. He spent 12 years on Great Britain’s National Diving Squad and represented England at the 1990 Commonwealth Games, a major international multi-sport event, in three separate events. He tried out for the Olympics twice and never made the team. He later said it remains one of his few regrets. “It’s a bit of a sore point that I never got to the Olympics. I started too late. It probably wasn’t my thing.”
After diving didn’t work out, he sold perfume and jewellery on street corners to pay the bills. Then he was spotted by a modelling agency and became a face for French Connection and Levi’s. Then director Guy Ritchie heard about his background as a street seller, cast him in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels in 1998, and the rest is history.
When asked on The Graham Norton Show about the dancing clips, Statham shrugged and said, “You do what you have to do to pay the rent.”
If some inbreds think they can harass me, attack me, throw eggs at my restaurant, and force me to kneel and start selling halal, they’re badly mistaken.
Intimidation will not change who I am or how I run my business.
I will not bow to threats, pressure, or mob tactics.
Rangrez in Hammersmith will sell only Non Halal food
Fuck inbred community
Ilhan Omar made her first public appearance since her infamous State of the Union outburst...and it was a total DISASTER.
CNN’s Wolf Blitzer gave her THREE chances to apologize for her barbaric behavior last night…she REFUSED every single one.
BLITZER: “The House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries, advised your caucus, the Democratic members, to either skip the State of the Union address or sit there in silence.”
“Should you have just boycotted the address? And do you think you violated the guidelines set out by your own leader?”
OMAR: “No, I think it was really unavoidable the president talked about protecting Americans, and I just had to remind him that his administration was responsible for killing two of my constituents.”
Blitzer tried a different angle.
BLITZER: “Many members of your Democratic Party criticized their Republican counterparts when they interrupted president Biden’s State of the Union address.”
“Do you have any regrets at all about the interaction we played between you and President Trump just last night?”
OMAR: “I do not, and I think many people look at that moment when the president says it is our responsibility to protect Americans and he does not acknowledge the fact that two Americans two of my constituents, two of our neighbors were were killed.”
Blitzer tried one final time.
BLITZER: “With hindsight, Congresswoman, do you think you would have been better off boycotting the speech like so many other democratic lawmakers did, or did you do the right thing by actually showing up there?”
OMAR: “I brought for Minnesotans up as guests for the Minnesota delegation. It was important for us to be there, to bear witness, to hold space for our constituents that have lived through an occupation from federal law enforcement, that have been terrorized, that have seen our neighbors been killed and and traumatized in so many ways…”
“And so, no, I think it was really important for my constituents to see me there. It was really important to my constituents to hear that I was reminding the president that Renee Good and Alex Pretti were killed under this administration.”
🚨 “BABY NOSTRADAMUS” JUST PREDICTED FLOOD 2.0, AN 800-METER TSUNAMI & SAID EARTH ISN’T REAL - ALL FROM HIS CAR SEAT
This kid didn’t just ramble - he delivered a full end-times prophecy with zero hesitation.
He literally says:
“There’s gonna be a tsunami… like 800 meters in the air.”
“They call it The Flood 2.0.”
“There’s gonna be sharks… great white sharks… when the flood comes.”
Then he suddenly drops:
“I’m horrified.”
And he isn’t done - he shifts straight into simulation theory:
“I just don’t know that everybody living here thinks the earth is real.”
“But it’s not actually real, because some scientists found out… there’s a glitch.”
Mom asks: “So what is our life then?”
He answers:
“I don’t know. Maybe it’s just a computer… like a simulation.”
“I feel like it’s a scientist testing little tiny people.”
“They really thought reality was real down here… but little people like us aren’t actually real.”
Kids say strange things... but this level of detail? This calm? This storyline??
Do kids just make this up - or are they saying things they’re not supposed to understand?
NEW: Arizona man who left his two-year-old daughter to die in a hot car while he watched p*rn and played video games, found deceased.
Christopher Scholtes was set to report to prison on Wednesday, but never arrived at the hearing.
Scholtes had pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was set to spend up to 30 years in prison.
His death is being investigated as a su*cide.
Scholtes's 2-year-old daughter passed away on July 9, 2024. She was found unresponsive in the backseat of a car. Temperatures peaked at 109 that day.
His other children, aged 5 and 9, said their father kept them in the car regularly, saying "he got distracted by playing his game and putting his food away."
"I told you to stop leaving them in the car. How many times have I told you?" a text from Scholtes' wife said as their daughter was being rushed to the hospital.
This is nothing more than a continuation of the president’s desperate weaponization of our justice system.
I am not fearful — I am fearless.
We will fight these baseless charges aggressively, and my office will continue to fiercely protect New Yorkers and their rights.
