This suspicious numberless van was reportedly spotted on Thursday in Kiambu and again yesterday near Nderi Primary School. Edwin Kiplangat, a 29-year-old Kenyan-born man living in Reading, UK, pleaded guilty on Friday at Reading Crown Court to murdering his wife, 39-year-old Linner Sang, and to two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The court heard that Kiplangat fatally stabbed Sang at their London Road home on 7 September 2025 after planning the attack, knowing she would return to collect her belongings. Police found Sang dead at the scene shortly after 2:30 p.m. Detective Chief Inspector Stuart May said Kiplangat tried to flee and showed no concern for her injuries. Both had worked as teachers in Kenya before moving to the UK and later joining the care sector. Sang’s body was returned to Kericho for burial in September 2025. Kiplangat remains in custody and is set to be sentenced on 3 July 2026.
