32 lbs between these photos, folks
But dudes that look like Dylan did on the left keep deluding themselves into believing they’re “just 10-15 lbs away, bro!”

@Fit_For_Golf @chasingscratch0 @Eli_ChasingScr How many rounds a week on average do they need to play in your opinion?
English

To clarify my *opinion*…
I think @chasingscratch0 & @Eli_ChasingScr are on a much better trend this season than any other. This seemed evident a few weeks back for Mike especially, when he was flirting with par.
I think this is largely due to commuting to the work with expert instructors @JaysonNickol & @larrywardgolf.
I fully believe if they keep going on this path they will continue to improve.
I do not think the mental game is their biggest hurdle. I think it is the amount of golf they play.
Golf is hard and very variable. It can take a lot of golf for improvements in skill to show up in 18 hole rounds. The more rounds you play, the more the skill level becomes evident. (Playing will also lead to sharpening of skills that can’t fully be recreated practicing).
I am not surprised their scores are higher when recording a major or playing in front of crowds. I think this is normal and would be the same for all of us. I don’t really consider this a mental weakness. It’s just a different / more challenging environment and makes up a low % of their total rounds.
I would take far more out of what they are shooting at their home course in “normal rounds”. I can’t remember exactly but this seemed to be improving when they were getting some regular rounds in at their home courses in the past couple of months. (Especially for Mike….damn that ball he couldn’t find).
They need way more of this, in my opinion. I appreciate fitting in rounds of golf is hard, hence why getting really good at golf is hard!
In my opinion here are the most important elements for them.
1) Continue working closely with @JaysonNickol and @larrywardgolf.
2) Pay close attention to 5 round trends at your home course on GolfMetrics and see how many strokes you are away from 0 differentials, and where these strokes are being lost. Focus on the actual strokes gained figures, not the handicap for each category.
3) Play more golf!!!
I get invested in this because I absolutely love @chasingscratch0 and @Eli_ChasingScr.
I am 100% certain they both have the ability mentally and physically to become scratch golfers. They just need to keep going, and keep trying to stack good quality time investment on their games. Let it compound!
In hindsight I probably shouldn’t have
posted my poll yesterday, I know they have a lot of people providing input already, but here we are 🙂.
Much love ❤️

For the record, I don’t agree.

@Fit_For_Golf Would this be suitable for your power plan? I notice many of the exercises have around 6 reps.
English

@practicalgolf Do you have suggestions to recreate feelings of pressure when paired up with strangers? I notice it takes me a few holes to get comfortable and scoring always suffers during that time.
Thanks for all the great content.

@Fit_For_Golf Sorry to hear you didn’t make your goal. Those are super impressive pace numbers and an overall time for someone like me aiming to break the 2 hour mark in June.

@cmjk2323 Knee extension machine, one leg at a time.
Slow tempo, enough weight that leads to failure between 5 and 8 reps. 3-4 sets each leg. 2-3 mins between sets on each leg. Every other day.
Repeat for months.
That would be great.

@cmjk2323 Do you go to the gym or would it be from home?
