Somehow we need to disentangle our identities from a political party. When we tie our identity too firmly to party, it's not ideas that are debated, it's that WE, ourselves are under attack when the party is criticized. We become too attached, and blinded to reality.

I'm not sure how we got here, but the failure to live in the same objective reality in the US is a huge problem Somehow democracy has tranformed into a brutal & hateful exercise of us vs. them, with the other side as 'evil.' We've got A LOT of work to do, America

Q exits our XC program as a school record holder, a Regional Champion & a State Runner-Up. @quenton_walion led the Boys to a 3rd place team finish--the second best boys finish in our history. Yes. All that. But his LEGACY is his HEART, his perseverance, and his WILL to COMPETE!

So a few 8K school records to note from Saturday: ▶️Josh (24:41.5) and Ryder (24:43.5) posted the top two fastest 8K times in program history ▶️Trent ran the 6th quickest time (25:19) ▶️The 3 fastest times by a CCU runner at an RMAC Championship race #PunchTheClock
