@TheHerdBros Part of my problem with the formats I keep seeing is that basically 33% of all Power 4 teams will be in the playoffs + ND, and then + 1/70 G6 teams. Are they really sure that 69 FBS teams do not deserve a chance at the playoffs. That really does not make sense to me.

11 P4 teams will make the CFP (most years) in a 12-team format. 20+ P4 teams will make the CFP (most years) in a 24-team format. If the CFP is 10 auto + 14 at-large, you’ll have 18 P4 teams at most. Might be an option to consider for those worried about the regular season 😉

A 24 team playoff can work but only if the conference champions for all 10 FBS conferences auto qualify and then whatever you want after that. Otherwise it's just an SEC/Big Ten cock sucking fest and they might as well admit they don't care about anything outside that
