Think deeper - bad actors (mediocre apps with lots of shady/fake reviews) might pollute App Store to a point that you won’t be able to find apps with “solid ux, fast support” because they will be in the second or whatever page when you search for something. I mean with 1,000+ apps launching every week and Shopify not being able to tackle the policy violation problem, it’s definitely possible in the long term. And it’s harmful for whole platform.

We are thinking about creating our own builder for Liquiflow (Webflow to Shopify Converter) We want to keep the Webflow Option but open it for a full AI workflow, with our own builder. Features would be: - runs locally - bring your own keys for AI workflow - everything still adjustable in the canvas - direct Liquiflow integration Would that be something you are interested in? I think that would open the market for non-Webflow users too.

@marvinblach It’s a Shopify app for advanced and real address validation, verifying whether an address actually exists before orders get shipped, plus Shopify Flow features. It‘s better explained on PillSoftware.com 🙃

For everyone wondering what our newly approved Shopify app actually does: A few of our clients had a surprisingly expensive problem: customers kept entering invalid shipping addresses. Missing house numbers, wrong house numbers, typos etc. Some stores had error rates between 5–10% of orders. One store even had up to 14% of orders with address issues. That meant: - paying for shipping multiple times - return fees - carrier penalties - customer support overhead - delayed deliveries The crazy part: most address validation tools only checked if the format looked correct. Not whether the address actually exists. So the clients asked us if we could build a more advanced solution for Shopify. That’s how AddressPill started. At first we thought: “let’s quickly build a better address validation app.” But then clients wanted additional functionality: custom flows with Shopify Flow integrations, automation triggers, etc. And surprisingly, we couldn’t find a Shopify app that really handled all of that together properly. So we decided to build it ourselves. Now the app verifies addresses during checkout, warns customers before orders get shipped, and can trigger custom automations based on address validation events. We originally thought this would take a few days to build. Ended up taking months 😅 And then another 2 months waiting for Shopify approval. But it finally got approved this week 🙌 For everyone who wants to learn more: PillSoftware.com And btw., the development of the App actually started over a year ago.

@HsanC_ We are running ads for our SaaS and we are spending 2-3k every month. It works, but the first three months you will have bad results, then it should increase and update your creatives with new ones (my experience with my SaaS).

95% of our Genseo trial users never converted to paid. Not because they didn't like the product. Because their payment failed. The first few months were brutal. People signed up for the free trial. Used the product. A lot. Then when the trial ended? Payment declined. Insufficient funds. Every single time. We couldn't charge 98% of trial users. That's not a conversion problem. That's a payment problem. So we added a €3 trial payment. Just €3 upfront when you start the trial. The result? Almost 100% of trials now convert to paid subscriptions. 100% of payments go through. No more failed charges. No more chasing people. No more lost revenue. The lesson? Free trials attract people who aren't ready to pay. Paid trials attract people who are serious. Even €3 filters out everyone who won't convert anyway. If you're running a SaaS with free trials and seeing terrible conversion: Add a small upfront payment. Yes, you'll get fewer signups. But only serious users will start a trial. And those actually convert.

We've audited 50+ Shopify stores in the last 12 months. Same mistakes. Every single time. Most store owners don't even know these issues are killing their conversions. Here are the 5 problems we fix most often: 1. Unoptimized images slowing everything down Stores loading 15+ seconds on mobile. Images at 5MB when they should be 100KB. No lazy loading. No WebP format. No compression. Google penalizes slow sites. Customers bounce before the page loads. 2. Zero technical SEO setup No meta descriptions on product pages. Duplicate content across collections. Broken canonical tags. Shopify makes it easy to publish. But most themes ignore SEO completely. 3. Mobile experience is broken Desktop looks great. Mobile is a mess. 60% of traffic comes from mobile. But buttons don't work. Text is unreadable. Checkout breaks. You're losing half your potential customers. 4. Apps slowing down the entire store 20+ apps installed. Half of them unused. Each app adds code. Code adds load time. We've seen stores go from 8 seconds to 2 seconds just by removing unnecessary apps. 5. Product pages with zero persuasion One blurry photo. No reviews. Generic descriptions. No sizing guide. No trust signals. No urgency. Your product page should sell. Most just inform. The worst part? Most store owners paid an agency to build their site. And still got all 5 problems. At trinker, we audit and fix these issues before launch. Because a Shopify store that looks good but doesn't convert is worthless. If you're running a Shopify store and recognize 3+ of these issues: You're leaving money on the table. Fix them.

We're giving away 10 Genseo.co Business Plans (worth $179 each) for a full month. What we need from you: Record your screen during onboarding and while you use the software. About 15-20 mins total. Voice recording is optional but helps us understand your thoughts. That's it. Why are we doing this? We need to see how real users think when they use our software. Where they get stuck. What makes sense. What doesn't. You can't build a product people love if you don't watch them use it. Interested? Drop a comment or DM.
