One thing that will always stick with me about Chris Kreider is the way he treats people off the ice. When I was younger, I attended a youth Rangers camp for three summers. From the first time I got to meet Chris, to the times I would see him warming up at the Garden, he always acted as if he remembered who I was. Whether he actually did or didn’t, he knew the impact it would have on a young fan like me. To me, that’s what separates the greats from the legends. Chris Kreider is a New York Rangers legend and a perfect example of what an athlete should be on and off the ice.

I know it's not done yet, but Chris Kreider's career as a @NYRangers, to me, can be summarized by always coming up clutch in the biggest moments. Most of the big #NYR goals I can think of since 2012 all involved Kreider. The stats prove it as well. Kreider is tied with Mark Messier for the most goals in @NHL playoff history in games facing elimination. Kreider has 16 goals in 30 of those games. Whenever this team had their backs against the wall, it was #20 who was the one to break through.
