@StephenSwampDog @Based_SpaceGoji Yeah, I'm all for more Ventress, but only if it's well-written and brings something new/interesting to the table. The worst-case scenario imo is if they just brought her back to do random hype cameos and one-offs in other shows.

@Based_SpaceGoji As a huge fan I would be all for it, but it would heavily depend on how well written the script is. Honestly I’d really like to see a videogame or movie focused on her. Ventress A Star Wars Story or something like that.

@Based_SpaceGoji If it was well-done and did something new with her. Her Tales episodes were cute, but didn't really pull the character in any new directions. Example, they could do a show set in her past on Rattatak featuring her rise to power, then eventual defeat, there.

@henskelion Dunking on the prequels was mainstream nerd culture for like 15 years. Whole films got made about it.

Quality of the movies aside, it is really bizarre that zoomers are trying to rewrite history and claim that nobody every hated these movies in their time, and that the opinions of countless people who watched them in theaters were actually the result of a single YouTube video

@cryptid_h @Warcraft Good characters have flaws. Everyone seems to think Sylvanas is defined by her trauma at the hand of Arthas, but trauma isn't a flaw. Hers is pride, through every game and novel. Gods, Denathrius straight says that *pride* will bring about death's victory!

@cryptid_h @Warcraft I see what you're saying, though these aren't "retcons", they're just contradictions that are intentionally shown and addressed, rooted in contradictions that existed unresolved since she named herself queen of Lordaeron and successor to Arthas, no?

@TheComradeBrad @Warcraft If you have to retcon a character so much to make your story make sense, then you're making a story that's out of character. This is just one small way BfA Sylvanas was not consistent with her prior writing. But, again, Twitter is not the correct format for this talk.

@TheComradeBrad @Warcraft Anyway, at no point in BfA or Shadowlands is Sylvanas focused on the survival of the Forsaken or herself. EoN got retconned to include Jailor shenanigans. Her motivation in SL got retconned to be "I must break the system to free everyone."
