Thought on a New Year's Day -- if you think the U.S. stock market will experience another 2007/2008 (personally, I don't), here is what would lie ahead. $SPX

@PeterLBrandt 1930s were very different from gold-standard point of view. As well as understanding of economics of Quantitative easing and economic theories. We might go into depression, but it is very unlikely it will be so long and severe as in 30s.

It the current U.S. stock market at the same point the U.S. stock market was in Jun 1930. If so we are have another 80% decline ahead of us. Not to scare anyone -- just saying.
