This is a misrepresentation. The Jewish Council did not support changing the hate speech threshold proposed by the last govt and have not changed that position. We do want a consistent policy against antisemitism in public institutions.

Here’s an idea. Before fetishising and justifying violence when it’s being perpetrated against people you don’t like, try the “shoe on the other foot” test. And if the shoe is uncomfortable, maybe reconsider your “by any means necessary” stance and get some principles.
