It’s jarring how many people I know who couldn’t care less about the NBA right now. Was at a brewery last weekend watching the NCAA and it was like pulling teeth trying to get anyone to talk about the league. The NBA has a serious cultural problem with the American sports fan.

Ben Simmons is unlikely to join the Knicks. According to an anonymous general manager, Simmons is reportedly hesitant to face the scrutiny that comes with playing in New York. The GM added that NY is currently at the bottom of Simmons’ list of potential destinations. "Of the places he [Ben Simmons] could land, they’d be [The Knicks] at the bottom of the list. They’re the longshot. He does not want the scrutiny. And they want to have room to use the whole roster, that’s one reason they got rid of (coach Tom Thibodeau).
