So @GovBobFerguson yesterday announced $57 million in new grant payouts of taxpayer money to dozens of 'daycare' operations in WA. Recipients are listed as "family home facility" with only city where located as identifier. So $57 million of OUR money going to who? Commerce document for awards says:The names and locations of in-home care providers (Family Home Facility*) that are not operating under a commercial license have been simplified to protect sensitive personal information. So they're getting millions of our dollars, but we don't get to know who they are? @TCSWashington @future42org @WAGOP

1 of 4 Let’s talk about what happened last night on I-90 Snoqualmie Pass near Easton. A power outage at the summit disrupted travel times and blacked out the cameras. This caused confusion between our radio room, the maintenance crews & our public information officers.

@jakers8433 @SnoqualmiePass Yes! $500 fine not enough. No one checks anyway. 5 hours to Chelan roads were not that bad, studs & 4 WD & go SLOW. Also I believe AWD should not be allowed when chains required as they are also the reason for many backups for hours when they get stuck and can’t go again.

3 of 4 Our maint crews work around the clock. @wastatepatrol staffed the chain-up checkpoints & we had an on-call tow truck available to respond to spinouts. Semi-trucks parked on the highway limiting the ability for our snow and ice removal equipment to move through the area.

US 2 Stevens Pass is now closed between milepost 55 and 85 because our plows are not able to clear the road due to illegally parked vehicles at the summit. If you have selfishly chosen to block our crews and first responders, come move your car off the highway. @wspd6pio
