Extraordinary to hear Steve Barclay on @BBCr4today this morning, arguing that doctors cannot be offered a fair pay deal to make up for the huge depreciation in wages over previous decades - because teachers are paid so little. We should pay teachers more too! Why should these key workers in the public sector be penalised and exploited for not choosing to work in the private sector?

Wouldn't that just make the building heavier on the overall struts & increase the chances of the building topling sideways into pieces like a giant jenga?

I was a believer of the 9/11 inside job conspiracy theory for 15 years. It was my gateway to the rabbit hole. Thankfully, today, I am now an ex-truther. This picture clearly shows the core of WTC 1&2. This picture is one that no 9/11 conspiracist will show you because it destroys their argument. You can see quite clearly that there would have been no controlled demolitions needed for it to collapse. Do all the mental gymnastics you want, but the truth is simple. A plane flew into each building. The impact, explosion, and fire weakened the core. The weight of the floors above the impact zone buckled the steel. And it all came down. No mystery. No inside job. Stop believing fantasies and wake up!

Aldi today.. No tills open , just self service queue. I demanded the manager to open a till. I said, I do not do self service so get your act together and open a till otherwise this shopping will be emptied on the floor and my custom will be gone. He opened a till, I paid cash.

Labour justifies closing a person’s bank account and leaking to the media, because they don’t like the person. It’s just like their vilification of former Labour voters who voted for Brexit. Labour doesn’t respect you, and won’t protect you if you disagree with them.

@lisakeb007 @chrisca13427514 @daraobriain No it isn't. He no longer meets the terms of service. Once his mortgage ended, he had insufficient funds to keep his premium account. Also he's a POS. For both these reasons, they decided to close his account & offer him a natwest one. Totally normal.

I remember when I moved to London I couldn’t open an account at Lloyd’s in Crouch End because they didn’t accept the Irish passport as valid ID. I didn’t go on Newsnight to complain; I just went next door to Barclays. Nigel is such a drama Queen.

He isn't entitled to that. He isn't entitled to keep it because he had it before, either.

@RishiSunak But they weren't, were they? He was very obviously still able to access basic services. He wanted premium services. What about the free market? Are private businesses not allowed to decide who they do and don't want to do business with? Also why are you wasting your time on this?

This is wrong. No one should be barred from using basic services for their political views. Free speech is the cornerstone of our democracy.
