@ExpectedChelsea @lxeagle17 i remember his first 6 months stint being the tempo-dictator from deep - a very rare profile at a very high level. would you prefer him to revert back to that role, or could that role be filled by someone like Wharton?

Transfer window summary:
Got rid of a load of players I thought were impossible to move (Felix and Nkunku primarily) - by far the biggest positive.
Pedro is a high-level player, and Garnacho is a brilliant deal, the rest are moderate-expensive gambles.

Chelsea fans haven't yet realized the team is really good, and is equipped to deal with injury/suspension shocks.
Like I keep saying, there is no need to panic about signing players. The ones we have are plenty good and Maresca has a strong record in improving players.

@SebC__ i think people don’t realise that Felix and Dewsbury signing was made to cycle Gallagher to Madrid for pure profit. The plan was always to move both players on immediately with minimal/no losses + recoup book value for +ve accounting. Something that only you dared to call it out.

@ThaEuropeanLad Watching both Jorell Hato and De Ligt come through Ajax academy and had similar prestige (captained ajax at young age), what are your thoughts between both of them and which has a higher ceiling? De Ligt seem to had more hype back then but i could be wrong
