On day 1 of my high school history class, our professor got up and said You are 15 or 16 years old. 200 years ago people your age were married, planted crops, had children, and built a cabin by winter. You can do your homework. The bar set for you historically is embarrassingly low. You are not dealing with regional famine or plague. You do not have to save your family from marauders or go into battle to destroy your enemies. You have to sit down and learn from someone who cares about you in a safe, air-conditioned room. You have no excuses.

For the last two years, I've lived at the intersection of data and security, with an occasional cameo in Incident Response. I've proposed a new job title for myself: Director of Disastrous Data. No disasters yet, but I like to be prepared.

@skdh Hi Sabine! I'm a big fan, but I'm no scientist, and I just ran into "Relativity of superluminal observers in 1+3 spacetime" (Dragan). Does it show that relativity can _lead to_ quantum mechanics, at least for superluminal particles? Have you done a video about this theory?

#sqlhelp Any takers on this one? Alternatively, how many of your orgs only allow data _modifications_ (outside of normal ops) if the modifications are fully scripted and applied through a CICD pipeline? [This would be "as opposed to being applied manually by a DBA."]

@char_bone To many men, eating is mere fueling, even if others are present. Some women I know (and some men) view eating in a group as a social or communal act first and foremost. Nobody wants to put a lot of time into fueling up.
