My wife and I are organizing a pop-up SF Chindian Meetup this Sunday (11 AM - 1:30 PM).
Vibes: Potluck + dim sum energy. Bring your friends, parents, grandparents, kids.
I'll be bringing batch 3 of my mapo paneer experiments!

4 years ago my best friend @hemanthug was studying aerospace at UIUC.
then he went into hardware manufacturing.
his job was basically moving information between Excel sheets.
not building hardware.
copy pasting data between spreadsheets.
i wrote him a script to automate part of it.
over time we realized something kinda insane:
the most advanced hardware companies in the world are still held together by VLOOKUPs, tribal knowledge, and meetings about meetings.
so 2 months ago we shipped @heysutra.
-Product Hunt launch week 1
-YC partner reached out
-CEO of @join_ef DM’d
-calls with @Figure_robot, @Rivian, @CaterpillarInc, @reliable_robot, Nova Semi
-3 LOIs
-first deployment live
-backed by an a16z scout
turns out the script was a company.

@DesignByMaeL @heysutra @ProductHunt It’s extremely fragmented and building the infrastructure is fundamental to let ai agents take over the mundane workflows

@dayumsam22 @heysutra @ProductHunt decision infrastructure for manufacturing actually sounds more important than flashy, because most factory chaos is probably dozens of tiny delays/miscommunications stacking on top of each other. So what the first moment is where teams go wait we actually run differently now?
