@murochuu I think one shot gen AI isn’t really art as there’s no creative process. But the tooling will improve, probably rapidly in 2 - 5 years.

This Studio Ghibli AI trend is an utter insult to the studio and anime/cinema in general. the real issue is that the AI is clearly trained on copyrighted material without permission in order to recreate like that. this is what the discussion should be about. It's especially disgusting considering Miyazaki is an artist whose profoundly against AI. Kind of reveals that people care far more about aesthetics than the artist...

It causes serious cognitive dissonance. Atheists genuinely think they’re smarter than religious people, they think if you’re smart enough you’ll solve the riddle and see through the lies, and you’ll be like them. It’s all about ego. The problem is they don’t understand religion or atheism. They’re simply blind.

@njalbertini @darwintojesus So its a suggestion that the multiverse is sentient. If true even, that's a radically different vision of god than say one where there's souls and turning water into wine.

Also, worlds can't exist without "God" in the model because "God" is the infinite multiverse composed of all universes, and it forms a hierarchical temporal memory, which is the same type of functional neural network as a human brain. The concept of "in the image of God" becomes rather literal. You don't have universes without the multiverse. Not in a Smolin multiverse.

That's basically Possible Worlds Theory, except PWT posits that all logical worlds exist. That's not correct. All logical worlds COULD exist. Then you apply Godel Incompleteness, and you end up with only quantum logical worlds COULD exist. And, then of course they only actually exist if they evolve in the multiverse.
