@aleksey_the_kid I'm kinda confused on nibelhiem but with the desert area ik it's not as dreary as it used to be

FF VII Remake Series Director Naoki Hamaguchi (@nhamaguc) 6th anniversary message:
"It’s hard to believe it’s already been six years since the release of FFVII REMAKE.
Time really does fly. To everyone who has continued to support the REMAKE series, we’re working with everything we have to deliver a finale we can truly be proud of. Thank you, as always, for your continued support!"

@MrXen0m0rpH Yes. Final Fantasy 7 (1997) is a serious game with light moments
FF7R is a Disney cringefest that can’t even do its serious moments well
Every normal person can tell the difference

@ProfNoctis I disagree with 4, getting more love than it deserves, because it deserves all the love. I beat FF2 in my 20s and enjoyed it more than most.
English

Depending on the age you played certain games, and what they meant to you personally, you’re going to have a unique perspective on each. THAT is why, despite their flaws, I love 4, 8, and 15 a whole lot more than they probably deserve.
Bee@eyesonbee
Final Fantasy discourse is exhausting because people argue like there’s an objective “best game” instead of recognizing we all played completely different games emotionally. Incoming thread of my gripe with how people handle this in the age of social media. 🧵:
English

@ProfNoctis @eyesonbee That design made its way to Crimson Desert lol. Same thing.
English

@eyesonbee YEP. Like how in FF15 you will almost always jump before speaking or interacting with something because it’s all the same button. My headcanon is that it is the customary Lucian greeting 😂

Ever notice the whisper in the bar during this scene in Final Fantasy VII Remake? I recall seeing this on Twitter a long time ago. What do you think it means? #FF7R
English

@GavelGamer My gosh I love this game so much! Beat it three times for the platinum. The music is a main reason why.
English

I knew Trials of Mana had orchestration on point with its remaster of Powell (Rabite Forest).
The repeated xylophone melody is crisp, recontextualized with a background guitar and strings. A pan flute amps exotic forest energy.
A perfect forest track for a rainy day.

SNES JRPG opening areas were iconic

@Sebbywebz I know your probably focusing on story mostly sebby but dont forget the about the resident evil giant scrap arm that dyne magically pulls out during his fight with no explanation on how he can do that
Stupidest thing ever 😆
English

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth ruins Dyne's entire segment from start to finish:
OG FF7
-Dyne is a stone cold killer
-He wants to shoot Marlene's head off so his dead wife won't be alone in the afterlife
-Final Line: A moment of Redemption. He entrusts Barret with his daughter
-He throws himself off a cliff to end his pain
FF7 Rebirth
-Dyne is a jabbering lunatic who tells an imaginary Marlene to set the table for Barret
-He no longer unalives himself. He dies shooting a bunch of Shinra soldiers
-Final Line: Ends on a moment of Hate. Tells Barret to live in guilt
-Palmer spanks his ass in everyone's face
The original scene was unafraid to tackle dark and serious issues
Rebirth rewrites this to appeal to the broadest audience possible

@RoneHerushin87 @Sebbywebz I mean, FF16, whether you like it or not deals with the extremes.
English

@Sebbywebz Rebirth, the FF7 for an audience the gaming industry believes is stupid and too childish to handle dark and serious topics.
English

@Sebbywebz I never beat this game, always wanted to, how bad is it really? lol
English

@Sebbywebz I love the Ivalice games, the art, music, worlds... everything really but FFS who wanted a system where you don't even interact with outside fixing gambits in a menu? It's like the cheats in the re-releases of FF1-9, what's the point really? Just play the originals.
English

@Sebbywebz Is it wrong to just want classic FF to come back? Why must these newer fans defend modern FF like you're insulting their granny? Asinine behavior.
