Question for published authors: if your friend buys a print copy of your book, reads it, and then wants to put it in a free library so someone else can read it, is that offensive? Personally, I would rather more people read my book, but I know I know lots of people are —

a publicist addressed me as "lizzy" in a cold pitch today. hard to explain what a gargantuan ick this for people named elisabeth, who choose their nicknames carefully.
