@LisaForteUK I sat on a jury last month where a doctor was being sued for malpractice by a patient. The defense of the doctor was that the patient was required to bring the images and a report to a meeting with them and they failed to do so. You’re allowed the images and report.

So apparently the MRI scan I paid for I’m not allowed to be sent the report!?! They will send it to a Dr but not me. I know some will say it’s for xyz reasons, heard them all, understand them but don’t agree. I paid for it, I want to be able to take it to a dr I pick

@BocaBola_ The Opt Out defense from the vendor creates that morally grey area where it can “accidentally” be flipped on. The normal consumer also wouldn’t have the leverage or know how to audit and see if their data was being used either.

I hope by making a meme about this, people will understand how fucking creepy this feature is.... And to the people debating "you can OPT OUT" that's NOT a valid defense. It should not be a feature. Period.

Last week I hosted family for Thanksgiving. My 12-year-old nephew asked for the WiFi password. He wanted to play Roblox on his iPad. I looked at the device. Unmanaged. No antivirus. No encryption. I’m an IT Professional. I don't run an open network. So I didn’t give him the password. Instead, I spent 45 minutes provisioning a Guest VLAN. I set up a captive portal. I throttled the bandwidth down to 56kbps. Then I blocked all traffic on ports 80 and 443. He came back crying. He said it wouldn't load. My sister screamed at me to "just let him play." I told her that Zero Trust architecture doesn't care about bloodlines. We didn't have a "fun" Thanksgiving. But we had a secure perimeter. You’re welcome for the compliance.

I spent the morning building Azure Logic Apps. This seems like a solid way to ingest Sentinel alerts and do initial SOAR for context gathering and initial response. Not sure I like it over Tines haven’t linked Sentinel to Tines yet either.

@JayzTwoCents I love watching water cooled builds. One day I’m going to get the courage to build one myself. Would love to see you water cool the retro build and see how Crysis runs then.

I'm going to definitely go back to doing more regular builds for the fun of it, including crazy over the top watercooled PCs etc. This is what makes me happy. They can always serve as future inspiration if things do return to normal someday
