Trying to think why this is happening and almost all the reasons are horrible: 1. CP3 told off some big name(s) in the locker room and he/they didn’t take too kindly to it. Now the franchise GOAT is being sent home to cater to the demands of someone who may not be here in 3 months. 2. The move to “turn the tides” of the season is going to be something like Chris Paul and 3 2nds for Russell Westbrook. Probably already agreed to in principle and will be executed in 12 days. He’s already “gone” The only “good” reason I see is that MAYBE this is move 1 of 20 and the start of the full tear down, but knowing this FO and seeing as he wasn’t just waived, I doubt it. Seems like they have a plan for his salary and no one at this current point would trade to acquire CP3 so it’s the Clippers trading him away. CP3 was clearly taken aback by this and now has probably completely soured on the franchise. No more farewell tour. I’m sick, bro. Sick.
