@drdrew I've been looking for an article you mentioned on ADS from JAMA. This was in regard to e-cigarettes as a means for tobacco cessation. There was a Swiss study just released in NEJM this past week - is this the one? nejm.org/doi/full/10.10…

Anyone have any experience using Dulera as a substitute for Symbicort for SMART therapy in asthma? I had a discussion with clinic pharmacist and said only Medicaid is paying for enough doses for patients to take up to 12 puff/day. @GkamelMD @RaviNayakMD @raniafarhat88 @SLUPCCM

1/ Awhile ago, on a triage call: “I’ve got a guy here, pretty young, came in looking terrible. GCS 4, we intubated him. Scan shows a big bleed. ICH score 4. Not sure much you’ll be able to do, but need to transfer him.” A #tweetorial about the ICH score. @medtweetorials

One of the craziest things about being a doctor in the US is having absolutely no idea how much anything costs because there isn’t even a real price.

Pro tip: if you're going to refer a patient to the ER for a potential emergency of a specific body part it's best practice to include an exam of said body part in your documentation...

Not another ventilator infographic! I recently attended a ventilator management course through @accpchest which was one of the best learning experiences I’ve had since graduating. Here are some of my notes. #MedTwitter #FOAMed #ICU

Inpatient medicine things I've learned over the years: 1. never interrupt nursing sign out 2. let the patient sleep 3. notes aren't that important 4. Let people call you by your first name 5. rounds should be done by lunch 6. respect every member of your team
