Everyone knows that a two-state solution would involve an Arab-only Palestine alongside a multiethnic Israel with a sizable Arab minority with full citizenship. Yet we're supposed to believe that Israel is the racist apartheid ethnostate. As ever, hatred of Israel is subrational.

I actually visited the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem today. Comparing Gaza to the Holocaust is insanely historically illiterate. Universalizing the lessons of the Holocaust has only served to water down the severity of that crime.

i think this was an interesting conversation, kind liberals cont to make optics arguments that center the feelings of ppl w sympathies to the state that has conducted industrial mass slaughter & maintains an apartheid. the purpose of holocaust scholarship is to never let it happen again. its to be used as a comparison to stop it from happening now. that's why i do not shy away from making the comparison as a warning.
