@LGamblor Short term rental pressure will occur, but long term housing supply should increase because it pushes investor demand toward new supply. Health care increasing for older generation is a solution to accelerate the eventual inter generational housing turnover.

@LGamblor Negative gearing only for new builds, either rent goes down to maintain the tax benefit or they sell to a new home buyer. I think it’s a good move

$TUA was a good example of what to look out for in terms of protection in the match to avoid getting chopped up. 24t shares on the bid at 665 might look ok as protection but it is nothing relative to the size and volume traded in the stock. It does 21t shares in the auction at 373 and that 665 wall gets wiped like a wet arse. The book is empty below so you are at the mercy of market making algos after that and they can really fuck you over if you are caught offside.

Rough month on the day trading front after dropping $3.5k on that WAF fat finger trade I posted earlier this month. Managed to get myself back into the green this week so happy with that. Had a much better run with the active portfolio with $5.2k net realised for the month. BGL & SMR were the main contributors.

@longhorncapital You could in theory do it in 4 if no delays, no unforeseen challenges, perfect teamwork of assets, and no resource shortages. But when does that ever happen.

@longhorncapital 6 months minimum.. Earthworks removal, bank stabilisation, rail repairs, lead time on orders + engineering plans and calculations. Assuming no approvals etc. also, flood waters might be too high and access roads might require repairs + temporary works.

Soo $ADT rail repairs will take minimum 2-3 months according to the Sarajevo Times.. forcing ADT to truck ore all the way to Port of Ploce (about 3hrs drive) which will increase costs.. sarajevotimes.com/railway-traffi…
