During a recent Q&A, Aster confirmed that he wrote a story set before the events of the film, saying, “I wrote a prequel to this. It never feels like the right time to do it.” He also made it clear that it’s “a prequel, not a sequel.”

Lauren LaVera (Terrifier 2 & 3) and Rory Culkin (Scream 4) are set to star in the upcoming horror film Red Wedding. The film comes from Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger, the writing duo behind Jigsaw, Spiral, and Saw X, with Stolberg also attached to direct.
