@dumbslayer25 @OU_Softball Texas? When Audrey pitched a shut out 3-0, won the next game 4-3, and won the series. PS - the loss was primarily with a hodgepodge of freshmen and other relievers. It was the errors, extra outs with runners scoring or moved to scoring positions, same with pass balls.

Uncalled for, a pathetic person does that. Some things were absolutely fair game yesterday for criticism but it should never be an attack on the kids. Everything we are saying they know and the coaches know. Just need the pitching to have a run of pitching at or above their best here on out.

@ChaseDonahue18 Criticism is the best part about sports. I love fans that understand the game enough to make knowledgeable comments. It’s people who say crazy stuff and then call the girls vulgar names or mean things… they’re still young ladies!

I often forget that fans of sports aren’t allowed to have opinions or express frustrations when the team they support under performs. Fans, you know the people who keep things running and provide the opportunity for the athletes to be able to do what they do in the first place?

@JacksonBig12 Softball in the only sport where an elite pitcher on an average team can beat anyone OU just proved that no matter how elite the offense is, terrible pitching can lose to the most mid team still playing

This is the 2nd SEC team ASU beat that was a higher seed Tech beat a higher seed SEC team today UCF beat a higher seed FSU I’m starting to think the RPI is bullshit

The should come back and win, this MS State is maybe the worst team left. But it won’t shield the pitchers moving forward. Unless we get out of body experiences from the staff it won’t happen. Can’t score 8/9 runs against the pitching we will face. Will face better bats, this rotation is too hot/cold

You friggin whiners, spoiled fans, people that just panic, GO AWAY! You same Asshats will be celebrating like you predicted it and never doubted when we go two straight and win this super. But 4/5 run leads are not safe, don’t use last year to help the #’s this year. And we had one pitcher last year we had to ride to death. There is not a pitcher in the top 3 that would be in the top 2 at any other top 20/25 team. They are shielded by great offense and playing with leads. When it’s tight they fall apart and can’t be counted on.

I know Tennessee has a great pitching staff but these are not the ABs I’ve seen the last few weeks. Need that Georgia team back for the bottom of the 7th.

@USMCRWB @OU_Softball They have consistently shit the bed as well. They are consistently inconsistent. That doesn’t work. If the team needs to score 10+ runs and have ZERO mistakes for your pitching staff you have a bad rotation.

@USMCRWB @OU_Softball 15 hits against a team who can’t hit , 11 runs to a team who doesn’t score!! A HR to the 9 hole who now has 4!!! The pitching is a complete and utter disaster. Hopefully we clean house with anyone who has eligibility except the FR.

@johnehoover Because the pitching staff is the worst of any top 50 team! Be hard pressed to find a team that doesn’t have someone that could be our #2 at worse. Awful evaluation on the two transfer pitchers, they suck. May be harsh but can’t sugar coat it

And that’s that. After Kai Minor singles and Ella Parker walks, Kendall Wells fouls out on the infield and Gabbie Garcia strikes out. OU drops its first NCAA Super Regional game in 11 years. Miss State wins its first ever.
