@Pontifex recently disparagingly referred to Cardinal Gerhard Mueller as a well-intentioned man, “but he’s like a child.” Mueller was asked abt it. He smiled and said, “It’s good to be a child of God...[otherwise] we cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” Pure class.

California congressional candidate Mai Vang declines to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Sacramento City Councilmember Mai Vang, running in CA-7, has repeatedly chosen not to say the Pledge at public meetings and has turned away from the U.S. flag during the ceremony. She shared on social media that she uses the moment to reflect on America’s “injustices.” This is drawing criticism from veterans and others ahead of Memorial Day, with some questioning whether declining the Pledge aligns with serving in Congress. Shouldn’t members of Congress take pride in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance? 🇺🇸 (Video: AI)

For more than 16 years, Christian Bale quietly worked behind the scenes to help create a $22 million foster care village in California through his organization Together California. The project was designed to keep foster siblings from being separated, something that happens to many children in the system. The village includes 12 family-style homes where brothers and sisters can stay together, apartments for teenagers aging out of foster care, and a large community center offering counseling, educational support, and recreational spaces. Bale said the goal was to create a safe, stable environment that feels like a real community rather than an institution.

In Japan, there's a strip of yellow tiles on every platform. Nobody touches it. Not one person. Rush hour. Thousands of people. Packed like sardines. That yellow path — completely untouched. A little girl skips right up to the edge of it. Stops. Steps around it. Her mother walks straight down the center, white cane sweeping the raised dots, dark sunglasses, completely calm. You think those tiles are anti-slip. They're not. They're a message. Raised dots mean stop. Danger is close. Raised bars mean go. You're safe. Keep walking. That mother reads this city with her feet. Every single morning. The space between the tiles and the train? Empty. Always empty. Nobody goes there. Not because of a law. Not because of a sign. Because in Japan, that path belongs to someone who needs it more than you. The crowd parts. Every time. Without a word. That same yellow path is under your feet back home. In airports. At crosswalks. On every train platform in your country. You've walked over it ten thousand times. Born from one man's love for one friend. Still walking the blind home. All over the world. To this day.

Kindness and knowledge
A freshly mowed yard. A neighbor in tears. A kid with a mower. She hadn't asked for help. She was too proud for that. Miss Eleanor, 81 years old, had lived in the same house for 52 years. She'd raised four kids in that yard, buried a husband, and kept every blade of grass in line until her hip gave out last spring. By July, the lawn had grown past her knees. Her neighbor had slipped a note under the door: "The city might fine you." She cried for an hour after reading it. Then, on a Tuesday morning, she heard something through the window. A lawnmower. Then another. Then voices young voices, Five boys. None older than 14. They showed up in worn sneakers and old T-shirts with a push mower, a trimmer, and zero hesitation. They introduced themselves, asked if they could help, and got straight to work without waiting for an answer. Two hours later, her yard looked better than it had in years. When Miss Eleanor came outside to thank them and reached into her purse, the oldest boy a 13-year-old named Marcus gently put his hand up. "No ma'am. We don't do this for money. We do it because it's right. We'll be back next month." And they were. Every single month. These boys are part of Raising Men Lawn Care Service, a crew of young volunteers who show up, week after week, with their own equipment and their whole hearts. No charge. No cameras. No fanfare. Just kids who decided that elderly neighbors, veterans, disabled folks, and single moms shouldn't have to stress about a lawn. They track every yard. They return to the same homes. They remember names. Miss Eleanor told us she keeps the curtain open on Tuesday mornings now just in case. "I didn't know young people still did things like this," she said, wiping her eyes. "I think God sent them." The next generation is going to be just fine!

🚨BREAKING: Spencer Pratt exposes insane corruption from a homeless project in Los Angeles, California! - The Weingart NGO got a $30 million dollar grant for homeless housing - A senior citizen home was cleared of elderly residents - The property was listed on the market for $11.2 million, but it was then sold to Weingart for $27 million (huge gap of money that disappeared) The city pays the NGO extremely high rates, $400,000 per bed per year for homeless housing on this property The building sits empty The NGO has no obligation to put a homeless person in a bed, so they can bill for every room at $400,000 per year with no one in them It doesn’t stop there. Taxpayers also cover the purchase, operations, upkeep, and problems even if the facility sits empty The Weingart NGO operates around 10 similar homeless housing facilities We need prison sentences for every Democrat involved in these deals and every NGO executive Spencer says he will hand them over to the IRS and DOJ for investigation and prosecution I saved him some time and looked up who handed the money out Key Democrats Who Oversaw the Money - Mayor Karen Bass (Democrat) - Former Mayor Eric Garcetti (Democrat) - Key member on the Housing & Homelessness Committee is Nithya Raman (Democrat) who has been involved in oversight and funding decisions - LA County Board of Supervisors (mostly Democrats)

🚨The Minnesota fraud empire is falling: Yesterday 15 fraudsters were charged and $90 million was busted. The MSM tried to cover for the fraudsters. @GovTimWalz called it "white supremacy" to expose it and @IlhanMN is completely SILENT. Independent journalism defeated an entire fraud network upheld by billions of dollars with support from corrupt politicians who allowed this fraud and the MSM who failed to report it. Major win for America and hardworking law-abiding taxpaying citizens. This is just the beginning. Arrest them all.

@Elex_Michaelson @katieporterca Free childcare! Free healthcare! Nothing is free. I pay, you pay, we all pay - and even then it won't be free. Stop falling for the false promises of the left. Get this economy rolling and we won't need government raising our prices or controlling our lives! It's time to change!
