For the younger fans or newer fans of cbb that are mad that IU vs UK is in Lucas Oil, here’s a reminder of what this game used to look like in the 90’s & early 00’s It was rotated between RCA Dome and Freedom Hall. Especially the years in the RCA Dome, the building would be split with 15,000 in red and 15,000 in blue and it was ELECTRIC!! I promise you, Lucas Oil Stadium will be on fire for that game and those dueling fan bases come November 20th that you won’t even care it’s not in a home building. Players need to grow a set of balls and remember that agents work for THEM! It’s so tiresome to see that X player wants to go to Y school but the agent wants him to go to Z school. THEY WORK FOR YOU!! Go where you feel most comfortable

I'm not sure what someone associated with Kentucky did to upset the national media, but it is clear at this point several talking heads have a grudge against the 'Cats going into 2026-2027. Acting like signing two of the best playmakers in the transfer portal is a NEGATIVE is just trying REALLY hard to be contrarian and get clicks. First off, quit trying to sound smart and talk about "they need the ball in their hands." News flash...every basketball player needs the ball in order to score...that is the way the game works. I'll take my chances with two elite ball handlers, passers, and playmakers. It is a COACHES job to make that work + both Zoom Diallo and Alex Wilkins are coming into this situation with their eyes wide open. Secondly, Diallo shot 37.5% on catch-and-shoot 3's. Wilkins shot 37.0% on catch-and-shoot 3's. Maybe one or both will actually BENEFIT from playing off of the ball a little more. I'm not proclaiming Kentucky to have the best backcourt in college basketball, but these are the two most talented guards that have been in Lexington since the Coach Pope era began. He, and the staff, will either figure out how to use them or they won't...but simply acting like it is unheard of to have two players who are elite playmakers playing side-by-side is foolish and shows your bias towards the 'Cats.

Too many people love to act like players (especially underclassmen) aren’t allowed to get better at shooting simply because they’re % and analytics are lower. We’ve become so beholden to computers numbers that we’ve totally lost the ability to use logic. Jumping on the trend of praise for @HardwooodEmpire and how freaking fun it is! One thing that would be fun to add (if feasible) would be the ability to create a playbook and stop the sim to go “coach mode” where you will make adjustments in game with play calls. Regardless, this game rocks as is!

Lady Vols guard and former five-star recruit Jaida Civil has entered the transfer portal, leaving coach Kim Caldwell with ZERO players on the roster. Civil, one of the top players in the 2025 recruiting class, will enter the portal after just one season on Rocky Top. Civil, a McDonald’s All-American, posted 6.4 points per game on 41.5% shooting in 30 appearances. The #LadyVols have lost 13 players since the end of the 2025-26 season due to eligibility or entering the transfer portal.
