@labourlewis its pretty clear the chaos stops when you lot are out of government completely. Absolute joke - couldn't run a piss up in a brewery
English

It’s pretty clear this chaos only stops when Andy Burnham is allowed back into Parliament.
It’s what most Labour members, MPs and voters want and the NEC/powers that be should just get on and make it happen asap.
The alternative is Farage in No 10.
Geri Scott@Geri_E_L_Scott
A source close to Streeting tells me it had become clear that MPs and members would not countenance a leadership contest that did not involve Andy Burnham. Streeting has not ruled out standing in any future contest, indeed those who had been organising for him say he would definitely be involved, but the thinking is that would come at a later date.

@SteveReedMP Get on with the job of fucking it up - gives a break you bell end

@MikeTappTweets Another tone deaf labour stooge who like all in his party thinks that by saying something apologetic means we are stupid enough to just accept it - wrong. Accountability means action and as per you and your mob just try and fob everyone off

The Tories wrecked the country in large part due to the constant churn in Prime Minsters and Ministers. We owe it to our constituents to not do the same.
We won’t deliver for our communities with what has become typical political infighting.
The PM is going nowhere, quite rightly.
We can only deliver with stability of leadership. Country first!
English

@darrenpjones @Keir_Starmer You and your ilk are tone deaf. Labour are finished you do not listen and you are the ones creating division you have achieved nothing meaningful thus far from a manifesto built on broken promises

The election results today have clearly been tough for Labour.
I’m sorry that we’ve lost so many brilliant Labour colleagues across the country, and thank them for their service.
And I’m sorry that so many voters felt unable to vote Labour at these elections.
@Keir_Starmer has taken responsibility and committed all of us to delivering on the mandate the country gave us at the last election.
The Labour Party shouldn’t waste a minute of the time we’ve been given to get on with that job. If we turn inwards the public will think we’re walking away from that challenge.
The next election will have unity or division on the ballot. A Britain built for all, or a Britain for the few.
Britain is at its best when we come together and rise to the challenges of our time.
And Labour is at its best when our values of equality, collectivism and unity power our project for the British people.
We can deliver a better Britain in the years ahead and beat the prospect of division at the next election, but only if we come together, get on with the job and face the future.

I am writing to the Muslims of the UK.
My family and I would like to settle in a Muslim country, the exact one yet to be determined.
My neighbors and friends, who are very close to me, would like to join me, as would their families, their family's friends, and even their friends' friends...
Therefore, there will be many of us in your country. Since we are all Christian, you will need to plan for the construction of churches and the closure of certain streets for our processions (rest assured, in our country it's only once a year, not five times a day!). You will also need to stock pork, bacon, and good beans in all your supermarkets to accommodate us, as we will be a minority and will need your understanding. This is OUR way of life, and you must accommodate us.
We are also bringing all of our dogs with us so we will need dog parks built and tolerance as we take them for walks down your sidewalks.
We would like all your religious holidays to be abolished, as they could offend the Christian community that we are.
We also request permission to participate in school outings wearing our crucifixes around our necks, and to eat our ham sandwiches in the school cafeteria and at work.
You will also need to provide a designated space in all your buildings where we can pray in our language, and you will need to provide a translator as we do not speak your language.
Should this request be denied, could you please provide us with the addresses of the police stations so that we can file a discrimination complaint?
Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Oh! I almost forgot, if my children set fire to your flag if the English team wins a game, could you please be as lenient as you are here?
I promise, I'll give them a good scolding...
Finally, I hope your government will give us loads of benefits and free rent while we adapt to your country, without even having to work, of course, whether it takes months, years, or generations...
Appreciate it!

@Keir_Starmer Ahhh nothing better than starting the day with word salad, lies and gas lighting from Keith.
English

@Artemisfornow I suggest you go and spend a few days in a classroom and really understand what’s going on in the education system.

Exactly. Many businesses, especially small ones, operate on tiny margins, so even a small rise in costs (which is what employee wages are for a business, they are not there to implement "social justice") can be enough to send a small business over the edge.
And most employees in Britain work for small and medium sized businesses, not "fat cats" like Tesco.
So the end result of this "increase in wages" will be lots of people losing their jobs, and new jobs which might previously have been created, not being created.
It seems every generation needs to learn this lesson afresh by electing a Labour government and then realising what a terrible mistake they've made, rather than just listening to those of us who've seen it all before.

@Keir_Starmer @RachelReevesMP @wesstreeting It will definitely increase nhs appointments. More people going to doctor to get signed off work and then unable to work and claiming benefits….well done you absolute cock womble
