@spignal @Samfr I want to take heart from this, but it only shows part of the picture. China is still adding a lot of coal power alongside the renewables and so the emissions continue to be a problem. Adding renewables without removing carbon emissions doesn't really help.

It was not so long ago you would hear the "It's not worth Europe/America cutting carbon emissions because China isn't going to do anything, is it?" argument. It has not aged well.

@VGrubsky @BristOliver In one area the UK has done pretty well. I believe this is mostly from shifting away from coal and will continue to improve. Next we need to sort transport emissions.

1. Flying emits vastly more CO2 than equivalent train journeys, and even one flight is a huge proportion of your total carbon emissions. If you care at all about the climate, you should at least be aware and mindful of this.

This is the single greatest threat bearing down upon the lives and livelihoods of you, your children and all future generations. Why this isn’t the biggest political issue of today and every day is beyond me. reuters.com/business/envir…

Hi @backmarket I need to return a phone which is in warrantee and won't boot. However, your online returns states that I need to clear personal data from it. I can't do that as it won't boot. Please can you help?
