In Connecticut, if a gubernatorial candidate does not get the convention endorsement, does not get the 15% delegate threshold, and does not collect the major-party primary signatures, the practical alternatives are: 1. Get nominated by an existing minor party A recognized Connecticut minor party can nominate candidates according to its own filed party rules. Connecticut law says a minor party nomination is made “in the manner prescribed in the rules of such party” filed with the Secretary of the State. That means a candidate could try to obtain the nomination of a party such as the Independent Party, Libertarian Party, Green Party, Working Families Party, or another minor party if that party has ballot access for governor and chooses to nominate them. 2. Run as a petitioning candidate under a new party label or “no party” Connecticut allows candidates not nominated by a major or minor party to get on the general-election ballot by nominating petition. The statute says a candidate’s name cannot be printed on the official ballot unless nominated by a major/minor party or unless a nominating petition is approved by the Secretary of the State. For governor, the signature requirement is the lesser of: 1% of the votes cast for governor at the last election, or 7,500 signatures. Since the 2022 governor race had well over 750,000 votes cast, the cap controls. So the practical number is: 7,500 valid signatures for a gubernatorial nominating petition.

If you think you're going to have a revolution, you haven't seen this video. This kill drone is made by Palantir. It has facial recognition. You will own nothing and be happy. Or dead.

Republicans want to let Trump use YOUR MONEY to pay out his criminal January 6th rioters.Since he has been in office, the price of groceries, gas, and utilities has gone up. Trump's first priority: helping criminals and his billionaire buddies.

Question: The NYT is reporting the regime change plan for Iran included reinstalling Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as leader. Was that wise or practical? Rep @jahimes: “Let me use the right word, which is insane. Right?…Ahmadinejad was a vicious extremist when he was president of Iran. He was leading the chants of Death to America, absolutely vicious. So the idea that putting him in place as a moderate leader. That's bananas.”

@elonmusk People need to stop petitioning God for things. The goal is not abundance of materialism and this seems to be lost on Mr Musk - the goal is ascendence out of materialism - not more of it.

What is the best possible future? This question is much harder to answer than it may seem.
Resist the Mainstream@ResisttheMS

Elon Musk: "Let's say you're praying to God and you ask for a given future. What future do you want God to give you? Probably, a future where there's amazing abundance for all."x.com/ElonClipsX/sta… "I think we want a future with love. That seems like a no-brainer. Peace is an interesting one because, you know, sometimes the price for complete peace may be too high because the complete peace may require too much suppression of the people."

@elonmusk Humans creating AI (in our own image) is precisely the spiritual problem that will be our undoing. It has already been spoken of in the Bible and it has already been addressed in ancient mythology. It's a Zero Sum Game.

Administrative assistant for the city believe her feelings trump the rights of the citizens. In this tense encounter, an independent journalist enters city offices to exercise a basic legal right: inspecting the public records index. Under Washington state law (RCW 42.56.070), this document is required to be available for public inspection. It’s not a favor; it’s the law. Enter Sabrina Costik, an administrative assistant who claims to be "brand new" but is already attempting to rewrite the Constitution based on her personal feelings. The exchange highlights a growing and dangerous trend in public service—the idea that personal "traumas and triggers" override the civil rights of the public. Throughout the video, Sabrina argues that: Her "comfort level" should dictate where a citizen stands. Her "liberties" are being violated by a camera in a government building. Recording her is "incredibly rude," effectively prioritizing social etiquette over the First Amendment. The situation required the intervention of Deputy Chief Matt McKnight of the Chehalis Police Department. In a masterclass of de-escalation and legal clarity, McKnight had to explain the hard truth to his own staff: when you are a public servant in a public building, you do not have a "reasonable expectation of privacy" while performing your duties. McKnight—who is currently campaigning for Lewis County Sheriff—remained professional, but the core issue remains: Why are public employees being put behind counters without a fundamental understanding of the Bill of Rights? As far as McKnight, he is running for sheriff in 2026 and his understanding and respect for the rights of the citizens is everything you would want in county sheriff. That said, as far as Sabrina, when "I’m uncomfortable" becomes a tool to suppress transparency, the public loses.
