@sophistsdismay i have almost the same feelings on this comic, and i wish we could explore these feelings about it without a plethora of comments from people whenever anything negative is said wrt this comic

this feels like trauma porn. it feels like a spectator looking in and exaggerating and stretching out something real until it is a grotesque parody. the truth is still there, buried beneath, the suffering and misery, the blood and hatred, but it is stripped of meaning.

it’s weird how obsessive and parasocial early transition worms get when they see a conventionally attractive trans women, this is exacerbated if she posts even vaguely sexual things

it’s unfortunate that beauty is valued like that, and to me it feels like it would be dehumanising, but the thing that bothers me the most is how often these parasocial people “defend” their favourite poster by calling everyone jealous that they aren’t as pretty
