@TheraRogers @HermaineM I love the fact that you said "what if"...that was not the case,it was never the case & that's why such never made breaking news in the country. This was blatant abuse of state resources for an influential member of society that's tightly connected to the higher echelons of power

@factor_miss @HermaineM What if they got intel prior to the funeral and was just being proactive, instead of being reactive- That's most probably where the prevention part kicks in.

@TheraRogers @HermaineM What were they preventing; combatting; investigating at the funeral of a taxi boss? If their work extends to attending funeral services then they've got their work cut out for them as there's no shortage of funerals in RSA on a daily basis.

There’s an old Chinese saying that I love: “The temptation to quit will be greatest just before you are about to succeed.”

@factor_miss @Solphendukaa The kids are learning to be sociopaths from their parents. I could’ve never imagined that for “abantu” as Sol referred to them…

There is this magical spark and brief connection you feel when you smile and just greet a stranger and they do the same back . An old gogo or Mkhulu or a security guard you've never seen before . Ubuntu ❤️ . I truly don't understand people who will walk into an occupied elevator and not greet . Ngathi it's empty . More so if umuntu !!! 💔 . Let's never lose ubuntu as abantu .

@Solphendukaa Bruh, I live on an estate where “abantu” especially ladies, in front of their children, will look you dead in the eye and ignore your good morning(with a waive). Instead it’s the white folks who will greet and stop for a chat. Truly weird…

Don’t be too hard on yourself. You’re doing just fine. Things which are of value and sustainable take time to build. A note to self.

Worshipping at the Methodist Church used to be a deeply moving spiritually charged experience. The singing of the hymns accompanied with an ‘occasional’ percussive tapping of the hymn books carried extraordinary weight that settled the spirit rather than trying to excite it. Hayi ke then entered the introduction of constant bell ringing, clinked and shaken through almost every hymn along with that jarring, “duntsu-duntsu” dancing. All of which have altered the entire atmosphere of worship. What was once measured and reflective now feels restless, even abrasive at times. Uvele uxakeke ingathi use ntlombeni. I am told some Anglican and Catholic perishes have developed these nasty tendencies too. Khanitsho maWesile amahle ezi ntsimbi, nokuku dlwabhuzela bo duntsu-duntsu, yimikhuba evalaphi na le? Please be kind. I’m an orphan. PS. I’m inclined to believe you folk are just addicted to disorder and chaos and you would go to amazing lengths to turn every orderly space into a circus.

@Germa12949490 I was actually thinking of my sister it happened to with a white guy who had alcoholic parents. Kolisi can't not have had trauma from having had teenage parents and a deadbeat dad.

Say what you want but the Democratic Alliance feels like the only viable electoral choice for anyone who wants to materially improve SA's economic prospects moving forward. The key thing is educating the electorate to a level where they don't succumb to identity politics slop.

DA’s next leadership is young, highly educated, and tech-savvy, with Hill-Lewis likely to lead and Gauteng influence rising ahead of key local elections. biznews.com/leadership/you…

@Finnthehuman80 There's only way to ensure that she gets the mayoral chains, and that's if we go out in droves to vote her in as the next Mayor of Jhb. The power is in our "X" on the ballot paper.
