I’m curious seeing more attempts to cash in on the hype of the Absolute universe without getting the appeal. And I don’t even think chunks of Absolute even get their appeal. Ben 10 is comically bad and I’ll forget abt it in the hour.

Skimming thru the new Ben 10 and I can’t see a kid reading this, even if the series wasn’t $5 a month. It’s also the first instance of a company trying to ape Absolute DC, then failing, all bc they neglected the carrying force of the line: good art.
