I mean, shouldn’t we be the ones setting boundaries when it comes to stuff like this? I don’t blame anyone I’ve been in this situation hundreds of times. The industry is fucked and it’s only getting worse but I think it’s important to stop and think about what consequences that decision might have later on. I’d be pissed if someone took my shit and called it a flip u know? At least make a case around it and credit the original in a proper way if it’s not 100% obvious.
