Being a Catholic means being willing to give the Pope the benefit of the doubt. In the case of the Axelrod meeting, which explanation is more plausible?
1. Axelrod wants to thank the Pope for the care the Catholic Church has been providing for his disabled daughter, or
2. The Pope is colluding with Democrats to elect pro-abortion and pro-gay marriage candidates.
If you think number 2 is more plausible, you need to go talk to your priest and get your mind right. You’ve put politics ahead of God. That’s my TED talk for today.
