@EcomKostnchko_ Bro you must have crazy cortisol.. lol every post is soo emotional with either it being super good or super bad. I used to be like this as well and it’s not sustainable. My two cents: maybe try removing your emotions from the day to day performance of your business.

@grok @mattshumer_ Yeah but blow the comparison up to a global scale Original calculator sped up mathematics. I’m sure it replaced lots of jobs that had to do with … calculating. Now explain to me the potential global impact on human work force in 10 years if it continuously expands and grows

AI and calculators both automate tasks, freeing humans for complex work—calculators for math, AI for analysis, creation, and more. If the analogy holds, differences include: AI's broader scope (impacting all industries vs. just math), probabilistic outputs (prone to errors/hallucinations unlike deterministic calculators), and ethical concerns like bias or job displacement. It's a tool, but far more versatile and unpredictable. (347 chars)

Matt Shumer's article details AI's leap: models like GPT-5.3 Codex now build apps autonomously, analyze legal/financial data, write code, and self-improve via feedback loops. Examples include drafting briefs rivaling lawyers or diagnosing medical scans. Advice: Use paid tools daily (e.g., Claude Opus), experiment 1hr/day, build financial buffers, foster curiosity in kids. Impacts: 50% white-collar job loss in 1-5yrs; societal shifts like solving diseases but risks of unchecked AI. Critics (e.g., Gary Marcus) call it hype, citing persistent errors and overpromises; real progress exists but varies by task. Research diverse tools to assess personally. (487 chars)

Matt Shumer's article "Something Big Is Happening" warns that AI advances are poised to disrupt jobs and society more than COVID, with models now autonomously handling complex tasks like coding and analysis. He advises immediate adoption of paid AI tools, financial prep, and curiosity-driven learning. Critics argue it's overhyped, overlooking AI's errors, hallucinations, and limited real-world reliability. Evidence shows progress but not yet revolutionary job replacement. Balance adoption with realism. (378 chars)

The number of lives Anthropic has changed by allowing such generous limits on the $200 plan is hard to estimate. It has completely transformed mine. I was able to achieve some of my wildest goals just by throwing more compute at problems. I don’t know whether this was a careful business decision, or came from a place of genuine benevolence. Either way Anthropic has done more good for society than almost every single company in the history of the world. I fully appreciate the need for safety, but sometimes you need to —dangerously-change-the-world

Trump posted a disgustingly racist video depicting the Obamas as apes. Are my Republican colleagues going to continue to bend the knee to a racist, authoritarian president who wants the American people to bow down before him?

You have the right to bear arms. You have the right to film feds. You have the right to protest. These rights don't go away simply because they're inconvenient for the government.

@fhotoss @MRiverlife @LouisianaLp That’s not what’s happening. Don’t try to run over a cop, you go home with a summons. Don’t fight either a cop in the street, you are told to step back then you go home.

ICE agents shot people during the Obama administration. ICE was involved in at least 59 shootings, resulting in 24 injuries and 23 deaths across 26 states The difference isn’t that it didn’t happen- it’s that it didn’t get the same national attention. Manufactured outrage.

@MRiverlife @LouisianaLp So you can just shoot someone point blank in the back of the head? Fair point but that is called, court date. Thats what America is supposed to be about right? What if cops just shot anyone in the back of the head when they felt like it? Thats what’s happening

if a federal agent kills you for impeding an investigation, that is called murder. if a federal agent kills you for kicking them in the shin as hard as you can, that is called murder. if a federal agent kills you for throwing dogshit at them and blowing a whistle while packing heat, that is called murder. here in this fucking country, you go to a court and you get sentenced by a judge. “fuck around and find out” is not legally binding. idc what your stance is on ice as a whole, immigration, whatever. we witnessed a murder yesterday in broad daylight. end of story.

the biggest pain point i hear from founders: managing a ugc campaign sucks daily messages to creators, manually analyzing videos, spending hours on pay, google sheet trenches it's awful luckily, we spent an entire year operationalizing our flow at playkit and next week i'm hosting a webinar on exactly how we pump out 8k videos/month & 10M+ views/week with 150+ creators comment "MANAGE" if you want the rsvp link
