calling bisaya more ‘kanal’ is especially nasty because now it stops being just about preference and starts bordering on linguistic discrimination 😭 there’s something deeply self alienating about mocking your own linguistic identity just to sound more cultured online

I could read English smut no problem but Tagalog smut????? I might need to hide under my bed, duck under the covers, read a sentence, and cringe every now and then. the dirty talk just feels cringe if it's in Tagalog. Like a kanal typa smut. much more kanal if it's bisaya smut.
