Senate just voted 99-0 to WITHHOLD their own pay during a government shutdown! Do you notice the language all the propagandists are using? WITHHOLD?" The pay is DEFERRED, not permanently removed. Once the shutdown ends, they receive ALL their backpay. The Bill is a literal joke.

I just watched people of “faith,” Christian and Jewish, praying in front of a golden statue of Donald Trump. This comes just weeks after Trump posted an image of himself depicted as Jesus, with demons behind him. Maybe he turns things around. Maybe he drains the deep state. Maybe he lowers energy costs. Maybe he becomes the most successful president in American history. I don't care. I still will not co-sign this. God will judge. I’d rather be on the wrong side of history than the wrong side of His judgment.

I filled up my gas tank today. It was expensive enough that I got visibly annoyed. Because the reason it's so high, over $80 to fill my tank, is due to a war we were promised would never happen. "No New Wars" Because it is the opposite of what was promised. "$1.50 per gallon" Because we spent years criticizing old man Biden with the "I did that" stickers at the gas pump... only to be stuck in the same loop again. IDGAF what the stock market numbers say. Step outside and walk around. The economy sucks. Any honest person can admit that. But don't worry...I heard we're building a gold ballroom.

I live in a part of Georgia where 75% of my neighbors voted for Trump. Trump signs and flags were everywhere. “Were” They’ve all be replaced with American flags and signs that say things like “True Conservative” No more Trump signs. ZERO. And all the MAGA influencers that live in Florida and DC will say it’s not true, that MAGA is alive and well. They’re lying to you, probably not even intentionally. They live in a bubble and don’t see the real America around them. When’s the last time u saw a MAGA hat in the wild? You used to see them at the mall, airports, and in the street. Conservatism isn’t dead. It just needs a new leader.

We are very happy that today Apple issued a patch and a security advisory. This comes following @404mediaco reporting that the FBI accessed Signal message notification content via iOS despite the app being deleted. Apple’s advisory confirmed that the bugs that allowed this to happen have been fixed in the latest iOS release. You can read more here: support.apple.com/en-us/127002 Note that no action is needed for this fix to protect Signal users on iOS. Once you install the patch, all inadvertently-preserved notifications will be deleted and no forthcoming notifications will be preserved for deleted applications. We’re grateful to Apple for the quick action here, and for understanding and acting on the stakes of this kind of issue. It takes an ecosystem to preserve the fundamental human right to private communication.

Last few weeks, one of my side projects was an AI YouTube thumbnail generator. 6-stage pipeline. AI art director to analyze titles. A judge to pick the best concepts. Scene designer. Trained LoRA for face consistency. Built like a real design team. It was complex. It was cool. I was ready to launch. Then ChatGPT released Image-2 and killed it. 5 seconds. $20/mo plan. Better output than my entire pipeline. Don't build where the frontier eats.
