Anambra: Security Update. Fabulous is a billionaire motor spare parts dealer by day, but an unsuspected kidnapper by night! a popular businessman in Mgbuka Market Obosi, Anambra State. This handsome looking rich guy was unknowingly operating a deadly kidnapping gang in a big duplex compound he built for that purpose His beautiful wife is aware of his illegal dealings. Both of them live in this particular big house where Fabulous erected a shrine, keeps his kidnapped victims, and as well as dismantle stolen cars of every model and sells them in parts. There are no types of motor spare parts that Fabulous doesn't have in his warehouse. He owns 3 Corolla cars and 3 RX 350 Lexus and 2 Sienna which he uses with his wife. On Sunday morning, police tracked a stolen car to his house. When they arrived, Mr. Fabulous and his boys opened fire on them from the gate . They were just tracking the stolen car only and at the end of the day, he exposed himself because the police people never knew he was using his house for a kidnapping collabo. His gang k.ịlĺeð one police officer, but backup came so fast. The gang jumped out of the fence and disappeared because they ran out of bullets but police caught Mr. Fabulous as he tried to escape. They also found about 8 kidnapped victims, one is a medical doctor who operates one of the biggest hospitals in Anambra, CEO of Crown Hospital Nkpor, who was kidnapped recently which Fabulous demanded N500m ransom The irate people in the area set his buildings and properties on fire. However on Tuesday the government of Anambra State demolished all his buildings and taken over the area while investigation has commenced That is what people see as Bandits. You see this world we live, no envy anyone's wealth. Fabulous lived fast and is about to die young May God continue to expose all the evil people causing security challenges in Nigeria 🇳🇬 Amen 🙏

Today, I participated in the APC Presidential Direct Primary at my ward in Ikoyi, Lagos, alongside my dear wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON. Democracy is not sustained by noise, speculation, or borrowed platforms. It is sustained by citizens who show up, party members who believe, institutions that endure, the grassroots, and a political family rooted in the people. The APC remains focused, organised and deeply grounded across Nigeria. Others may gather around grievance. We gather around structure, service, and the work of nation-building. Together, we will continue to renew hope, strengthen our democracy, and build a stronger Nigeria for all. Bola Ahmed Tinubu President Federal Republic of Nigeria

I commend the @ndlea_nigeria and its operatives for the successful dismantling of a major drug syndicate and a multi-million dollar narcotics production network operating within our country. The seizure of illicit drugs and chemicals valued at over $360 million, alongside the arrest of key foreign and local collaborators, sends a clear message that Nigeria will not yield its future to criminal networks and narco traffickers. West Africa is increasingly becoming a major corridor in the global narcotics trade, and this poses a direct threat not just to our security, but to the future of our young people. We must confront this danger with courage, coordination, and consistency. I urge Nigerians to support our law enforcement agencies by remaining vigilant and reporting suspicious activities within their communities. I commend the NDLEA for its professionalism, bravery, and resilience. The fight against illicit drugs is a fight for the soul, safety, and future of our nation. Bola Ahmed Tinubu President

STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS PROFESSOR SEGUN AINA AS NEW JAMB REGISTRAR President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Professor Segun Aina as the new Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), succeeding Professor Is-haq Oloyede, whose two-term tenure expires on July 31, 2026. Professor Aina, who will be 40 in July, is a distinguished academic and systems expert with extensive experience in national examination systems, digital infrastructure, and public-sector institutional reform. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Kent, an MSc in Internet Computing and Network Security, and a PhD in Digital Signal Processing, both from Loughborough University, United Kingdom. He has also completed the Senior Management Programme at Lagos Business School. A Professor of Computer Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Aina began his career with JAMB during his National Youth Service, gaining foundational experience in national admissions and data-driven institutional processes. These insights have shaped his ongoing contributions to examination reform and systems optimisation. With over 15 years of post-graduation experience, Professor Aina operates at the intersection of technology, policy, and institutional transformation, advising federal and state governments on system design, digital transition, and operational reform. At 39, he became one of Nigeria's youngest Computer Engineering professors and will now make history as JAMB’s youngest registrar. He has served as a consultant to major examination bodies, including NECO, NABTEB, and various State Ministries of Education, providing expertise on ICT systems, examination integrity, and digital process optimisation. Professor Aina is a member of several professional bodies, including the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN), the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET). President Tinubu expects Professor Aina to bring to bear his vast experience, knowledge and practical insight into the operations of the Board, to take the critical educational organisation beyond the laudable heights achieved by his predecessor. The medical students who wrote 2021-MB were forced to sort between N1m - N1.5m and those who refused to pay the money failed and were asked to withdraw. The Abia State Government are already investigating this. Justice will be served. We will restore integrity!

Let us be honest and stop playing politics. Supporters of Mallam EL Rufai are intentionally not addressing the self made confession made on national TV but are rather posturing political persecution. He who wants to come to equity should do so with clean hands. Why are they afraid to admit and address the breach of security. Even if it is complicity after the fact. The fact remains he said "Nuhu made the call and made the order that I must be in custody yesterday. [I know] he made the call because we listen to their calls; the government thinks they're the only ones that listen to calls, but we also have our ways. He made the call; he gave the order. Someone tapped his phone and told me." When the interviewer interjected to point out that tapping the NSA's phone is illegal, El-Rufai responded: "I know, but the government does it all the time, they listen to our calls all the time without court order. But someone tapped his phone and told us that he gave the order." Yet people are saying he has done nothing. A lesser person admitting to this would not receive sympathy from anyone. Nowhere in the world would this be treated with levity.

@ennyola0015 Let him face the full course of justice. Laws are made to be obeyed by everyone. As APC supporters, we want our laws to be effective and enforceable. They are not meant only for the common people.

Peter Obi in this pointed out that the Netherlands, with a landmass of about 33,000 km², generated over $100 billion from agricultural exports, while Niger State more than twice its size still struggles with food production and exports. Fair point.✅ But here’s my question: Anambra State has a landmass of about 4,844 km², which is over 10% the size of the Netherlands, and Peter Obi governed it for 8 years. What were Anambra’s agricultural output and export figures during that period? Did the state feed itself or achieve even 1% of what he now uses as a benchmark? It’s easy to criticize governments from the outside, but leadership records should also be open to the same scrutiny. Your followers conveniently forget you governed a state for 8 years and all the things you criticize Govt for today, you equally failed at

A drunk policeman shot me at a checkpoint in 2011. The bullet tore through my car, through my right hand. I lost my career as an animator. My marriage cracked. My mind still bleeds. The twist? I sued the Nigeria Police. Won in 2015. Judge said: "Pay his medical bills." 10 years later. Zero naira. I face permanent disability without help. @PoliceNG_CRU @TunjiDisu1 @UNDP @NhrcNigeria #NigeriaPoliceNotYourFriend

She’s the best journalist in Nigeria. She didn’t sit back and allow Peter Obi get away with his lies. She countered him with pure facts. You invested state funds and gave 5% equity to your family. Peter Obi knows it’s a huge crime. In China, he would have gone straight to jail.

S&P Global Ratings has upgraded Nigeria’s sovereign credit rating to ‘B’ from ‘B-’ — the first upgrade in over 14 years. According to S&P, this reflects progress on key reforms, including FX unification, the removal of fuel subsidies, improved oil output, and stronger external reserves. While this rating still leaves Nigerian bonds in speculative (“junk”) grade territory, the move signals rising investor confidence and should modestly ease future borrowing costs. A positive step.

Fun fact: If Peter Obi makes sense to you, Tinubu will never make sense to you. If Tinubu makes sense to you, Peter Obi cannot make sense to you. These gentlemen operate on totally different IQ levels. If after watching Tinubu's outing yesterday, you still find it hard to understand him and you are clapping for "Mr I will run for a single term to bring stability", it speaks more about your IQ than anything else.

I don't even like that I have to say this, but comparing Peter Obi to Tinubu is a massive reach. Disagree with his politics all you want because that is the beauty of democracy, but let’s not lie about pedigree. Obi hasn't even touched this level of economic discourse. Vote for whoever you want, but do not disrespect the man’s intelligence or capacity by putting Obi in the same bracket.

President Tinubu: Investment is very cowardly unless you are transparent, accountable and forthright. Part of that is Africa looking at itself putting our resources together so we can go out there and negotiate for ourselves. I wrote an article in the Financial Times talking about international rating agencies.
