@TheSBCPlatform @sbcamendment @manorjuan @adamwmoore My more significant concern is this, if it's a question of nomenclature and shoring up what we believe/mean when we use the word "pastor" then I think we're doing well. But if we're going to use this as leverage against churches with women in non-pastor leadership roles, yikes.

@AngelaEWeiler Comments were that married guys w/o rings were typically “on the prowl.” Bc of my job, travel, out-of-town meetings, etc, I immediately got my ring resized and wife’s ring fixed while I was at it. I was genuinely surprised to hear their thoughts:)

@dieworkwear I complete disagree. I wear black shoes only (sometimes) with dark gray. I don’t wear black suits. I obviously wear tan shoes with light blue and tan suits, but also with navy and gray— especially light grey. The contrast looks really good.

1. light colored suits
2. light colored sport coats
3. distinctively summer-y outfits
this is only for classic tailored outfits. other aesthetics run on their own language (e.g., tan cowboy boots often look great). style rules are not universal

this is another good example of how tan shoes ruin a dark suit. the brightly colored shoes, relative to the dark suit, end up dragging your attention downward, ultimately taking attention away from the wearer. they ruin the elegance a dark suit is supposed to convey.
