In a rare moment of truth aired on the BBC, former governor of the Bank of England—the world's first central bank—Mervyn King, admits that the soaring inflation and living costs experienced worldwide post-Covid, were a predictable result of money printing by central banks.
"During Covid, when the economy was actually contracting because of lockdown, central banks decided it was a good time to print a lot of money. That was a mistake. That led to inflation. We had too much money chasing too few goods, and the result was inflation. That was predictable. It was predicted and it happened."

Below is a statement from Tánaiste Micheál Martin made in the Dáil after the Charlie Hebdo massacre in 2015. It was as clear then as it is now that he fully understands freedom of speech encompasses “the right of people to say things even if one does not like their saying it.” Now he’s one of the biggest champions for abolishing free speech in Ireland with this Govts “hate speech” laws. Truly shameful how little pushback there is in the Dáil against it.
“I welcome the fact that the Taoiseach visited France on that occasion, with other leaders, to show our solidarity in the face of the appalling murder of French journalists and cartoonists at the Charlie Hebdo offices. The world was truly appalled, not just by the senseless loss of life but also at the very fundamentalist interpretation of the world being imposed on them. The killing of the cartoonists and journalists also struck at the heart of freedom of speech, which is the most sacred freedom in a democracy. It is something we should cherish, nurture and preserve at all costs. That is why many people in developed Western democracies were truly appalled at the nature of the attack. Not only did it involve the murder of individuals who had families and a needless loss of life, but it struck at the heart of the concept and ideal of freedom of speech, the right of people to say things even if one does not like their saying it. That is why it was extremely important that the Taoiseach and others were there to show solidarity and to send a clear message to those who seek to wipe away centuries of progress, tolerance and respect for all religions and freedom of speech.”

"NHS staff are incentivised to favour gender identity, and to eliminate language referring to biological sex." A new trans scandal is now unfolding in NHS youth gender services across the country, says @Docstockk.

Encouraged by the reaction to this post so here’s another worrying aspect of the bill.
If you don’t want to be convicted then don’t commit hate speech, right? Wrong, there will be no definition of what constitutes “hate” within the bill.
According to Minister Helen McEntee "on the strong advice of the Office of the Attorney General, we have not sought to limit the definition of the widely understood concept of 'hatred' beyond its ordinary and everyday meaning.”
"I am advised that defining it further at this juncture could risk prosecutions collapsing and victims being denied justice."
So, there you have it. They’re making “hate speech” illegal but refusing to define it as that would make it harder to secure convictions. So much for freedom of speech and liberal democracy.

People don’t realise how extreme Ireland’s hate speech bill is. Up to 12 months in prison for refusing to give password to your devices if suspected of committing hate speech. 12 months for refusing to allow the State read messages between you and your spouse. It’s authoritarian.

Emily Hand wasn't "lost". She was brutally abducted by the death squads that massacred her neighbors.
She wasn't "found". Hamas knew where she was all along and cynically held her as a hostage.
And Hamas didn't answer your prayers. It answered Israel's military pressure.
Leo Varadkar@LeoVaradkar
This is a day of enormous joy and relief for Emily Hand and her family. An innocent child who was lost has now been found and returned, and we breathe a massive sigh of relief. Our prayers have been answered.

While our culture castrates its own children and denigrates the nuclear family, this culture reproduces at astonishing rates. They will rule the world within thirty years. twitter.com/RadioGenoa/sta…
