The phrase Tom Wolfe, writer of The Right Stuff, 1979 gave us is the right one. Anthropic didn’t recruit them. The frontier did. Anthropic is just the only airframe currently rated for this altitude.

Pushing the frontier curve forward

Rockefeller didn't buy refineries. He bought the railroads they all ran on. Anthropic didn't buy OpenAI. They bought the SDK toolkit OpenAI ships on. Same playbook. 29 years to break up Standard Oil. The next one finished before lunch.

Larry Ellison just bought Bugs Bunny. $110.9 billion for Warner Bros. Discovery. The Looney Tunes vault came with it. So did thirty years of Real Housewives, Survivor, 90 Day Fiance. That's the only video training corpus AI can't generate from scratch.

It's like, wow, like that's the first time I've seen real impact in our four walls."

Anthropic just topped Harvey's own benchmark at 90.9% on the test designed to measure when AI replaces lawyer-hours. Same week, Harvey got wrapped inside Claude as a plug-in. Anthropic isn't in the model business. It's in the real estate business. Harvey just became a tenant.
