@gillw67 Oh I have been waiting for this email since @ICT_MrP posted weeks ago about it. Just uploaded my school ID and was told could take 14 days to get card and accepted. After 14 days was given a reference to bring up with customer support.

I may be still in the Oasis queue but finally after waiting weeks have my blue light card 😂😂😂

@bennewmark Yeah, had 3 years out of teaching (still in education though) after 13 years in the classroom. Went back this time last year and I have a completely different mindset. I do think sabbaticals would help with teacher burnout - it did me and I love being back in the classroom

Question for ex teachers who work in education (teacher training, consultants, academics etc). Do you ever consider returning to teaching? What puts you off?
