Not discrediting how much Harden sucks, which he does, but one stylistic incongruence of the bigs which has become increasingly pertinent is that both Allen and Mobley are in-action defenders, not backstops. JA is only 6'9, his focus constantly ebbs, and he's a bad D rebounder

Watch how disengaged the helpside is for Harden in the first clip in contrast to a rarely active backline for Brunson in the second clip. Obviously not the same situation but it proves a point that I want to make about how inconsequential POA liabilities can be for star guards.
