@AshleyGWinter I had a horrible uti & when I went to the ER they put me in the psych ward instead of treating me, despite me saying I was in pain & that they found blood in my urine. After, the only thing that really helped me was wearing breathable underwear and changing it more often.

Board certified urologist here to tell you that wearing jeans is absolutely never the cause of UTIs.

@ask_aubry 2, it matched the stove and refrigerator. How did any of us manage to eat an avocado after that?

@clairezagorski @FrugalPharm Okay that makes sense bc when I was in Japan last summer none of them had greasy faces (or even sweaty faces for that matter). Also, my husband got a winter coat there on his mission and that thing is warm!

@mediocremumsy I did in my old car as I had driven it forever and was very comfortable changing the buttons quickly and I liked it to maintain the right speed or avoid speeding. However, with this new car, everything is different so I don’t do it.

The cat sneezed blood. Not the can. Wow

It’s been quite the day, starting with a roaring headache at 6am, then the salt shaker cap falling off into the dinner I was making and ruining it with the whole shaker of salt, and then the can sneezing blood.

@Imogene_Moon13 Awe I’m so sorry. I also had a meltdown/build of anxiety today that resulted in many tears and maybe a thrown towel in anger at my sleeping husband (he didn’t know. He will never know.)

Just had a whole little breakdown and the mean voice was yelling at me about how worthless I am etc but in the background was “I’M JUST PETE AND I LIKE JUGGS. MENTALLY ILL AND IM ON DRUGS” but only that part repeating over and over in a loop lol mental illness is so cool and fun

@aliahdomino I got it back when they first started having ads. I didn’t feel like I was an exact match for me. However, I don’t usually use a ton of foundation.

Have any of you guys actually tried the il makiage foundation I keep seeing everywhere all the time and is it actually good bc idk why but it feels like it’s probably a scam

@rachelsteenblik If I like the podcast enough to listen to it then I usually have really enjoyed episodes that are about an hour long. Under 40 mins feels short and more than 80 mins feels way too long.

@AshleyGWinter We didn’t growing up until my grandparents visited from another state and got mad at my parents for not serving milk with dinner bc it’s apparently healthier and nutritionally necessary… Anyways, we only had milk with dinner when they visited from that moment on.

I think I was in my 20s when I realized that there are actual adults who drink milk with dinner.

@sewistwrites My husband starred as Tevye in his high school’s production of Fiddler on the Roof. He didn’t have an answer of than that they grew up in the same community so he probably knew the family prior to marriage. Idk

was reading through an old thread of make up tips on Reddit, and someone mentioned that warming up your mascara by putting it in your pocket for a few minutes makes it go on better. and then someone commented underneath, "sometimes I sit on it like I'm hatching an egg."

I had to record an audition tonight and the cat, who has never cared to hang out around the computer, suddenly had to be in the recording with me. 😂

I just a transformative moment. while facing some difficult truths, it hit me: I can’t change the past & I can’t control other people & what they think of me. I can only move forward giving it my best I was so unaware of how much energy I expend trying to control things I can’t

@madelineceee @SavLovesSwift @junglegirl666 @Thinx Same here. I ordered 3 different ones from them forever ago and I only like how 2 of them feel. Mostly hang out in the sleep shorts. But yeah, it sucks about those chemicals.

I don’t know why as a 25-year-old woman I still feel embarrassed that I prefer pads over tampons when I’m on my period. Does anyone else feel this way? Can we end this stigma please? No period product shaming! Wear what you’re comfortable with! You’re not gross!
