Filled with anger, he allegedly traced her to her hostel and invaded the place alongside another accomplice. During the struggle, Chinwendu reportedly recognized him, and fearing she could expose them, they allegedly decided to silence her permanently.
The suspects then brutally assaulted, řæped, and slit the throat of Ms. Chinwendu Achumba, a student nurse at the School of Nursing Umulogho Obowo in Imo State.

Bandits demand N1bn and 35 motorcycles to release 37 worshippers k+dnapped from churches in Kaduna — Community
Bandits have demanded a ₦1 billion ransom and 35 motorcycles to release 37 Christian worshippers who have been held in captivity.
The victims were abducted on Easter Sunday during coordinated attacks on St. Augustine Catholic Church, ECWA, and Baptist churches in the Ariko community, Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Five people were killed during the initial assault.
The abductors explicitly demanded two specific types of motorcycles: 20 "Boko Haram" brand motorcycles and 15 Bajaj motorcycles.
The victims, who include elderly individuals, women, and children, have spent approximately 45 days in captivity.

Today, I participated in the APC Presidential Direct Primary at my ward in Ikoyi, Lagos, alongside my dear wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON.
