The 7:30AM was under DL2917 operated by a A220-300.
As you can see it is now being operated as DL5252 on a CRJ900. Anything such as flight #, aircraft type being modified constitutes as a schedule change..

Hey @Delta can you explain why I just got moved to a different flight for a trip I booked months ago, even the flight isn't canceled?

I flew out of Newark Airport this morning and experienced something that is obviously going to become standard everywhere within the next few years. There was no TSA agent checking IDs. No pulling anything out of my pocket. I walked up to this new machine, it scanned my face, the gate opened, and I kept walking. There was no line because the process moved so fast. It felt like stepping a few years into the future, and it was awesome!

Late last night, a trespasser breached airport security at Denver Int’l Airport, deliberately scaled a perimeter fence, and ran out onto a runway.
The trespasser on the runway was then struck by Frontier Airlines Flight 4345 during takeoff at high speed. The pilot stopped takeoff procedures immediately.
The Frontier plane was then quickly evacuated while law enforcement and firefighters responded.
Preliminary reports are 12 people were hurt, with 5 taken to the hospital.
Local law enforcement handles airport security and is investigating with support from the @FAANews and TSA.
No one should EVER trespass on an airport.

Airlines must be getting crushed by fuel prices right now - to a point where premium cabin demand is plummeting.
Business class SFO to London is $9-12k on United… it’s 2x normal price.
This one flight I’m looking at in 3 weeks still has 42 open business seats still - same for all flights that day.
Seems like an easy free upgrade clearing…

Spirit had the newest & safest aircraft’s in the industry when I started working for them in 2015. They had those yellow air buses custom built in Germany. Ppl from other airlines always spoke so highly of how serious spirit took safety.
