My autistic cousin tried wine for the first time and said it had notes of rust, wood chips, and asbestos. He says he will not be trying it again 😂😂😂 Please guess what wine he had.

@valenluciana Aporto otra: la vida social pasa casi exclusivamente por el pub. No hay vida social en lugares públicos (y es bastante triste). He presenciado jóvenes ya borrachos en el pub un domingo 3pm.

@duzBme Sure half our best ever team and greatest ever manager weren’t Irish 🤣. These lads were born here and have every right to play for the national team, true Irish men

Covid Vaccines were NEVER SAFE
Two lads debuting for Ireland — fair play if eligible. But Ireland went from 87% White Irish (2006 census) to ~77% (2022). How did the national team become so visibly non-Irish while nobody’s allowed to notice the demographic shift? When did asking ‘who represents us now?’ become racist? Question everything. 🇮🇪 #Ireland #Demographics #WhoAreWe

What’s a great song that mentions a mode of transportation in the lyrics? Mine: Magic Carpet Ride…yours?

@IanM_1970 On top of the Barry thing was a further issue in the Benitez relationship that he wouldn’t give him time off from final group game in champions league when we’d already qualified for the next round to attend the birth of his first child. Rafa made him leave

@anon_opin Hmmmm listened to it again last week after a long time and although it probably has a greater crop of tracks I love than others the drumming is lacking throughout

I've known multiple people who claim Bleach is the best Nirvana album. It clearly isn't. Not every musical opinion has to be some contrarian edgy take.

Went to my friend Matt's funeral on Friday. The final walk past the coffin song was Jon Secada - Just Another Day. Inspired. What closing song would you have at your funeral?

Belfast Child - John Chambers
Who remembers Blue Lamp Disco's ? Not sure if these were only a Belfast thing but my local church hall use to have one every Friday night back in the 70s /early 80s and I never missed it, dancing away to Abba & Blondie until I discovered the Jam🎶🎶🎶 Sadly Reverent Lewis caught me sniffing glue in the toilets one sad evening & I was marched up to me wee granny Chambers for a hard lesson 😜

@TheCinesthetic And I would agree with him. It was the music and counter balance of the styles that made me go back for a second watch, which I never do in a short period of time. For me it’s the music that drives the story and rocky road is simply spectacular

Christopher Nolan says that the ‘SINNERS’ river dance scene (“Rocky Road to Dublin”) is “the most spectacular musical inversion since Kubrick's “Singin in the Rain” from ‘A CLOCKWORK ORANGE’

The racist, anti-Irish rhetoric in Sinners is absolutely disgusting. 800 years of oppression and slavery, and we are portrayed like this?! At least we were not sold to slavery by OUR OWN PEOPLE, unlike Africans. Anyone associated with this movie should be ashamed. #Oscars

@fhsperformance Keep them all training together and stream for matches. If possible keep it fluid so that ones in lower stream but improving at a particular position get the odd game higher up and again some stronger players can drop down to help develop leadership and maintain club bonds

Should youth GAA players be grouped by ability? Many clubs use “streaming” — dividing players into A, B or C teams. A recent study explored how players, parents and coaches experience streaming in youth Gaelic games. Here are some of the key findings 🧵

"The Cover of The Rolling Stone" 1972 Became a hit, eventually inspiring the band’s appearance (in caricature form) on the actual Rolling Stone magazine cover in March 1973 after the song’s success. Do you remember their name? x.com/calmalgodown/s…
