@1ssve I have teens and I think it’s just way more awareness of how bad it is for you. It would be like smoking 20 years ago - like why do people stop smoking. Bro - it’s killing you. Everyone knows alcohol is poison now, so why would they do it.

Serious Question: The alcohol industry has lost $830 billion in the last 4 years, because Gen Z is not drinking. Why do you think they aren’t drinking?

@taimurabdaal I see so many execs, high paid people saying “I just built an agent to book my hair appointment!” Haa. Wow, Google will have this built-in in a year or whatever - can you go build something valuable instead. It’s more of a dopamine thing I think.

Really don’t understand the tech obsession with trying to automate the process of booking flights… I think I travel reasonably frequently and it’s really not a big deal to click around for a couple of mins to book a flight…

@MarketPalmer_ He’s working on your vehicle subscription, not producing more personal vehicles. (Killing the Model X and Model S). Yes a Tahoe or Suburban is needed for big families and road trips. But those are what, 1,2,3 times per year?

I have no idea why Tesla hasn't come out with a Tahoe-style SUV. Pair that with FSD and it would be one of the top-selling vehicles in the world.

@Delta WiFi is absolute trash - both flights this week worked only intermittently. Wifi used to be nice to have. Now on a 4-6 hour flight, it’s a necessity and expectation. Be sure to search “Which airlines have or are getting starlink?” before booking.

Whitney Cummings dropped a very honest line on Chris Williamson’s podcast: “I quit Botox for my son.” After becoming a mom, she also stopped smoking weed, went off birth control, ditched tap water, and started wearing way less makeup. Suddenly her face could actually move again — and she says she feels dramatically clearer, less emotional, less judgmental, and communicates so much better. She realized a lot of the “beauty” stuff she was doing to look perfect was quietly making her feel worse. Life’s big transitions often force us to re-examine what we put into and onto our bodies. The healthiest version of ourselves is rarely the most polished one — it’s the one that feels most human, most alive, and most honest. Sometimes stepping away from the pressure to appear perfect reveals how much of our energy was spent performing rather than simply being. Have you noticed how letting go of certain “beauty” or wellness habits actually made you feel better?

@LauraPowellEsq Not sure drinking itself is the issue. Lots of parents don’t drink these days. So their kids don’t consider it a natural progression. Most people know it’s poison and makes them feel terrible. But yes liquid courage is a thing.

The loudest boos come from the cheapest seats. Dana White on ignoring criticism from those that can’t do: “These people are fucking zeros. They've never done anything in their life except talk. All the same guys talking shit now are the same ones who said the UFC peaked in 2016 and look where we are 10 years later: -Spike $35 million deal -Fox $100 million deal -ESPN $3 billion deal -Paramount $7.7 billion deal It's just crazy. You have to block all this noise out. Everybody that talks about this business and has an opinion on it are zeroes. They have no vision and they have no clue. They've never done anything in their fucking life except talk.”

It is time for the United States Postal Service to ban junk mail. Unsolicited spam calls are already prohibited by the FCC. Emails are heavily regulated by the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. Junk mail is the majority of mail, 100 million trees per year. Enough!

. @AirCanada just decided to separate my wife and me on our upcoming overseas flight. We had bought and paid for adjoining seats. Now, one week before departure, they notified me that they’re changing MY seat and moving me 12 rows back. No explanation, no apology. Unacceptable.

@DhaliwalSports Are you familiar with the ecosystem the Whitecaps are in? They have no good options to make this team successful. Basically someone or some group has to care more than the owners.

Does this Whitecaps owner know he is allowed to talk and express his feelings about how much he wants to keep his team in Vancouver and how much this city means to him and his team. Nothing but silence from Whitecaps ownership and that's pathetic.

Tesla has again updated its FSD miles tracker to account for a larger vehicle fleet & increased FSD usage. Tesla's fleet is now driving an average of 28.8 million miles per day on FSD, up from 14.4 million miles per day a couple months ago. That's 1,000 miles every 3 seconds.

@elonmusk I want an option to “Take me on a 45 minute drive to home.” Use case - I’m listening to a podcast and it has 45 minutes from home but I’m only 20 minutes from home - I want it to make my ride home 45 minutes instead of 20. Would also be good to go drive a baby around while nap

Ferrari has released a new video of the interior for its first ever all-electric car, called the Ferrari Luce. It was designed with Apple's former head of design, Jony Ive, who recently said "a large touchscreen doesn't work in a car." Car info: • Four-door four-seater • 122 kWh battery • 330 miles of range (European rating methods) • 1,000 horsepower • 0-60mph: Under 2.5s • Four electric motors • OLED screens • Guess cluster screen is made up of several layers. By cutting out holes in the upper layers, Ferrari created displays where the speedometer graphic is below the level of a physical needle, which is itself behind additional drive info and beneath a curved inset lens. • Will have fake gear shifts • Weight: 5,100 lbs
